Not as powerful as last three.. but still good.

Dimmest of the season. But still very good. I was expecting a lot from this episode but was let down..a bit. The biggest let down for me was the Damon-Elena scenes. Totally lacked the emotions it had in first two episodes. **SPOILERS AHEAD** A witch formed The Brotherhood of Five(witches are behind everything!) to wipe out the vampire race once and for all. BOF is quite interesting but I don't know where they are planning to take it. Hunters came and went through the series. Som e died, some became vampire and one became Damon's best buddy. But if Connor is any indication, BOF is dangerous. Klaus and Stefen teaming up seemed a bit hurried to.me, but hey! anything for Elena, right? There's a cure! That completely blew me off. Waiting to see how Damon will take the news of Stefan hiding the truth about Connor and cure when he finds out(he will!) seeing as their relationship is already a bit strained. For the first time I felt bad for Rebekah. Another new character! Suspense! I love that. I really hope next episode will be better than this. And more Delena scenes, please?

another strong outing

I loved the episode with the flashbacks and Damon and Elena dances very suggestively at that college costume party, lots of great stuff, I love that season 4 is much darker and gloomier. I love they added more blood , season 4 is just a great season with only 2 or 3 okay but no bad episodes, this one was great

Rebekah's Lover Was In The Five

Klaus got Connor chained up and has Jeremy draw a picture of the map on his arm. Flashback to a very long time ago, Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah had met The Five. They were determined to kill all vampires. Rebekah had a lover who was in The Five. She looks beautiful as she lets him take her hand in front of the execution stage. Later we see Rebekah kneeled on top of the man who is shirtless as they romantically kiss one another slowly one at a time. The man smartly continues to kiss Rebekah and make it seem he is so into her and then he stabs her. Klaus is not affected due to being part werewolf and saves the family while killing The Five.
