The project, which is shooting in Los Angeles, centers on two women from disparate backgrounds who find each other amid the desperation and glamor of Los Angeles, forging an unlikely relationship that spirals into tragic chaos. Evignan will play the lead role of a troubled artist while Norton will play her lover and a prostitute nearing the end of her career. Following behind the successful Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign and James Franco's crowdfunding endeavors, filmmaker Patrick Chapman is also looking to make a groundbreaking movie, with the help of a former Rescue Me star.
Andrea Roth, best known for her role as Denis Leary's wife Janet in the hit FX show, stars in the tease for the film ToY. Set in Las Vegas, the movie follows "a gifted yet troubled young artist" named College (Jillian Leigh), who "finds her muse in the embattled life of a high-end escort, Pro (Roth), that is at the end of her career in the City of Sin."
