piggy back stamper and stamp tramp
jain-vasu63128 July 2013
Barney has discovered that his ex-fiancée, Quinn, has returned to stripping at the Lusty Leopard. Since appearing there would make things awkward for both of them, Barney decides to find a new strip club. Soon enough, numerous strip clubs woo him over even as a Lusty Leopard employee begs him to stay; Barney is one of the club's most loyal patrons. Marshall tells the gang that he saw an old law school classmate Brad while going to work. brad had been a bum for past two years so he recommends brad to his boss. while Ted is accused to be a piggy back stamper so he digs up his old video diaries. while robin becomes barney's strip club sponsor.

this is a good episode though good plot but a teeny-tiny weak on the jokes. still a good episode

The Stamp Tramp (#8.7)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was pretty entertaining. Marshall's story about trying to help a former friend was pretty good. Both Joe Manganiello and Joe Lo Truglio were really funny during the interview scene. I loved the height jokes. And the twist at the end was pretty awesome. I am looking forward to see Marshall's trial. Something tells me it will be great.

Barney selecting a new strip club was a pretty silly story that still made one laugh. And we have that great kiss of him and Robin at the end although she didn't respond the way I would like.

Ted's videos were hilarious again. Including that moment with Lily that almost was just sweet.

Not Many Laughs
slightlymad2214 February 2015
Despite a decent ending, this episode misses the mark as beside the Barney plot, there are not many laughs to be had

Plot In A Paragraph: Marshall runs into his law school buddy Brad, who now seems to be down and out. Marshall tries to help him by getting him a job interview at his law firm, Honeywell & Cootes. Lily and his friends don't think it's such a good idea as nice guy Marshall is already seen as being a bit of a "stamp tramp" - a person who provides his stamp of approval on anything, In the discussion of stamp tramps, the gang believes Ted is a "piggyback stamper" - someone who believes his stamp of approval is his own idea, but only really approves something somebody else has already approved. Meanwhile, Barney has to abandon his regular strip club, since Quinn has gone back to working there.

At least Jason Segel got some decent screen time.
