This movie is a great movie as in showing real life problems that people deal with and how God has a purpose for everything. This movie is heart warming and a tear jerker. The acting in this movie is not that great and looks more like a home filmed movie. But the emotions in this movie are definitely there

Important message to learn

You have to watch this movie all the way through. It has a very strong message. They did very well putting the story and message together and they did the best they possibly could with the budget. They honored God and served him portraying a hard message to learn from.

Overwhelmingly, Annoyingly Emotional

Once for movie night at my church, we watched this movie.

It felt like it was four hours long. My mom who's in charge of the kids' ministry had to take them away for an impromptu activity because it was too much for them . . . And for her. Every single person from my church that I've talked to about this movie agrees that it is terrible, overbearing and derivative.

This movie centers on the lives of five different individuals whose lives come together because of a car accident. Sound familiar? Why must Christian movies always do this? It's not representative of the creativity God blesses certain minds with. If I had a nickel for every Christian movie I've seen that ripped off Crash, I'd have two nickels-which isn't a whole lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

Here's the thing: If this movie had focused on the life of just one of these characters, I might have been able to give it some merit as a solid film. It has good acting, a decent musical score, and honestly outstanding cinematography and editing. It's all of these positive qualities that hold me back from giving it just one star.

But it's the horrible, heart-wrenching, blood-curdling tragedy of this character! And then the horrible, heart-wrenching, blood-curdling tragedy of that character! And then the horrible, heart-wrenching, blood-curdling tragedy of this character! It's too much! It just made me want to get up from my seat and yell from the top of my lungs, "SHUT! UP!"

And this main character.

God help me.

God help us all.

Did they try to make her as unlikeable as possible? I'll try not to spoil anything but she gives a speech to one of the characters that completely destroyed what little joy they had left. At that point, I was done with her. I didn't care how it ended, she was dead to me.

I honestly think the creators of this movie have a psychological torment fetish. I think they get off on watching these horrible moments unfold onscreen one after another-on introducing a ray of light briefly, only to snatch it away with another horrific scene of emotionally distressing material. It makes me sick.

Do not watch this movie. It's not so bad it's good; in fact, if there's such a thing, it may be so good it's bad. Either way, it's rotten. Foul. Putrid. Disgusting.

I think the RottenTomatoes critics consensus for A Serbian Film also applies here: It will "leave you scarred for life...or rolling your eyes..."
