No one is sacred

Just as the stakes are at an all-season high, so is the body count 'Outlaw' moves the plot at a fast clip while piling on one fantastic scene after another. Raylan has a bitter heart-to-heart with his father (this after Arlo goes Rambo on a prison guard) which speaks to Olyphant's talents, almost spitting out the words in acrimony. But this is Walton Goggins' show as Boyd plays Wynn Duffy, turns the tables on the condescending pricks from Clover Hill *and* maneuvers himself as an asset to Theo Tonin. Shave his head, he'd be Lex Luthor.

Funny thing about Drew Thompson is that this episode all but tells you with a neon sign who he really is. I guess I hadn't been paying much attention the first time I watched this because it seems really obvious now just in the dialogue. The disappointment here isn't in how they handled it, but that the impending reveal means the departure of one of my favorite guest stars.

Warning: Spoilers
Arlow has died and Raylan being a non emotional character reacted to the death the only way he could which is not putting any tears towards his father. In other news of the show there was a violent killer that Raylan had to kill when he came to save the day. Colt is a problematic character for me and should have been gotten rid of weeks ago and his chase for Ellen May needs to stop and Johnny should just kill the guy as he continues to glide through like nothing happened. Boyd seems to winning a lot lately getting the three guys at the end on a blacklist showing his wins continue with Ava being his moral support on the sidelines for him all the time. The best reaction of the episode was Raylan seeing the engagement ring just because it was funny and simple. Overall the episode was standard with the death pf Arlow being a shocker and especially how it was staged at the start of the episode.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Walton Goggins)

Second time

Now it was the second time the other person shot at Raylan but didn't hit, whereas Raylan shot and killed both of them. So stupid. Would have ended in Season 3 only.
