Finish the show
brueggemanntami17 July 2019
I hate part two crossovers. I enjoy the different departments working together, but this is not fair to the viewers. I understand that they want us to watch all of their shows. And I am quite likely to do so. But being forced to is frustrating. I am a binge watcher. I finish one series and then go on to the next. I don't want to leave an episode hanging to move on to a different series with characters that I don't know. Yes, introduce these new people. I will follow them. But finish the storyline where it is please.

Crossover Problems
Hitchcoc26 March 2021
When I go to the next episode of CSI will the business in New York already have occurred. I'll have to see. The events of this episode, sans Gary Sinese, are still interesting as they involve a fraudulent wine scheme. It was quite educational to watch Hodges do his thing and the others fall in line. Also, the grift is really fascinating the way it was all cooked up.

To Be Continued in a Crossover with CSI: NY
claudio_carvalho4 December 2023
Greg and Sara arrive at a crime scene, where two teenagers found a dead body wearing a tuxedo inside a wine barrel that they were shooting with a rifle. When Dr. Robbins finds whale sushi in his stomach, the CSIs recall the sushi chef named Vince Corrado, whose specialty is whale meat. They learn that Vince was working at a mansion owned by the auctioneer Albert Vogel, who explains to Brass and Sara that he is specialized in rare vintages of wine. He does not recognize the deformed victim but based on the "JD" cufflinks, he is Jack Davari, a client and wine collector. Further, Jack had a quarrel with the French winemaker Marc Ratelle that wanted to buy back a box of his own wine from Jack. When Brass finds Marc breaking bottles of wine at Albert's wine cellar, he is arrested and Hodges finds that they are fake bottles of the expensive 1936 Château Retelle. Meanwhile, Russell is visited by his friend Marc Taylor, head of the CSI laboratory from New York. He wanted to surprise his girlfriend Christine Whitney that traveled for a convention in Las Vegas. But soon he finds that she is missing and Russell offers to help him to find Christine.

"In Vino Veritas" is an episode of "CSI" divided in two segments. The plot of the wine collector is interesting and very well-resolved by the CSI and Hodges' expertise in wine. However, the segment of the abducted girlfriend of the CSI from New York does not finish and in to be concluded in a crossover. I hate this type of "to be continued" since I do not follow "CSI: NY". Therefore, I will not probably see the end of the story. My vote is seven.

CSI NY follow up episode
elfjefiederelfje2 May 2019
Since there's no mention of it on this IMDB page, I thought I'd add what episode of CSI:NY you should watch after this (quite enjoyable) one. It's season 9, episode 15. Enjoy! ;)
