In this episode, Ben and Kate's dad come to visit, and it becomes clear that their relationship with their father is estranged. As a result, Kate joins a mentorship for teenage pregnancy's and Ben tries to impress his father. Also, Tommy and Lila argue through Lila's dog, which I think is supposed to be funny while showing that they aren't right for him, but it comes across as awkward. Although, it is kind of cute when Brittany Snow does it. I love her dog-talking voice. In real life, she talked to her actual dog Billie in the same voice. Speaking of Brittany Snow, she only has three scenes with very little screen time, and it is pretty apparent they filmed all her scenes at the same time. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute little show with laughs here and there, but honestly, I wish she had a more significant role, and the script allowed her character to grow.
