Sex & Nudity

- A sanitation worker is told by another man that he bets his wife smells "shit" on him every time she "fucks" him.
- A scantily clad woman is seen beside a toilet.
- The dead body of a pregnant woman, fully nude except for a thin pair of underwear, is briefly seen on an autopsy table. Although not sexual in nature, the image does display some nudity.
Violence & Gore

- Opening scene might use those with a sensitive stomach as you see a woman infected with the virus and she vomits and defecates a lot also scratches and claws at the flesh on her thighs leaving open and gory wounds
- Surprisingly there is not a frequent amount of gore in 'Septic Man', but when it does occur it's extremely graphic.
- A woman in the intro is seen vomiting and defecating in a disgusting bathroom stall while she moans in pain. She eventually faints, falls in her own defecation and passes gas as she does so. Very weird, disgusting and graphic.
- A man threatens to "bop" (hit) another man in the face.
- Images are shown of people with cholera and internal bleeding as they are wheeled away on stretchers.
- The decaying corpse of a cat covered in feces is removed from a drain pipe and placed at another man's feet.
- Radio reports are played through the intro credits which mention various illnesses in the town water supply causing the death of at least sixteen people.
- An elderly man vomits blood into a stone fountain.
- The dead body of a pregnant woman is seen on an autopsy table briefly.
- The frequent mentioning of defecation as well as the graphic images of feces and vomit and raw sewage, may offend, bother or disgust some viewers.
- A man mutates after being exposed to some kind of toxic waste in the sewage.He moans in pain and the entire transformation is quite grotesque.
Profanity

- There is an extreme amount of vulgar language and "toilet humor" in this film. Many uses of the word 'shit", "I don't give a shit", etc.
- "fuck" is said multiple times.
- Fart noises and toilet flush sounds are heard frequently.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Nothing particularly frightening or intense in this movie unless you are claustrophobic or squeamish because throughout the film bodily fluids are present mainly vomit and diarrhoea from start to finish as the main character mutates from the exposure to the virus he begins to grow lumps and boils that disfigure him and leak pus the infection completely changes him by the end of the movie there are multiple scenes of gross things as mentioned above there are also themes of cannibalism and a pregnant woman in danger towards the end as well as the psychopath character that traps the main character throughout the film there is an underlying tone of unease and panic and paranoia throughout as well
