Sex & Nudity

- Zach and Beth are often trying to find ways to sneak out and have sex.
- A man puts his dead girlfriend's scarf on top of his clothed crotch. His brother walks in and asks "are you fucking your scarf?"
- A man and a woman start kissing, and he then lies on top of her, ready to have sex, but they don't.
- A man asks his girlfriend if she wants to eat him, as he is worried that she is a zombie. She misunderstands, thinking he is asking for oral sex.
- A couple talk about going hiking so they can be alone to have sex.
- A couple are driving down the street when the female reaches down and starts rubbing the male's crotch. He pulls over next to a public (although empty) playground and chases her into the sand where she lifts her legs up so he can slide her panties off. He climbs on top of her and we see their heads in close-up, bobbing, as he thrusts into her. No nudity is seen.
- A young woman seductively sucks on her boyfriend's finger.
- Beth plays jazz on her radio and starts undressing and pushes her boyfriend onto her bed, but he leaves before they do anything. Her underwear is seen.
- A woman holds another woman's mouth and asks if her boyfriend put his cock there.
- A man says that another man walked around naked, asking a woman to touch his penis.
- A naked older female zombie walks up to Zach. She has heavy stitching criss crossing her chest from an autopsy. Her breasts and butt are seen.
Violence & Gore

- Though the violence starts slowly, and most of the killings take place off screen, there's quite a bit of splattered blood on furniture, walls, and on characters' faces and clothes. Some charred bodies are found. A character cuts off her fingers to feed to a zombie, and spurting blood is shown. A man shoots an old lady in the head with bloody spraying. Zombies are shot in the head with graphic results. A zombie sets fire to a beach house.
- A snake bite is seen on a young woman.
- Beth falls from the room of her house, but does not get injured.
- Beth gets angry and starts breaking things at the beach.
- A man accidentally hits a woman with his car. She survives.
- Moderate gory violence in the latter half of the film.
- A naked woman (only breasts and buttocks visible) is seen with scars, from where she has been autopsied.
Profanity

- "Fuck" is heard several times, in several permutations. Also words like "cock," "asshole," "Jesus," "bitch," "shit," "retard"/"retarded," "pussy," and "douchebag."

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Although the overall atmosphere is mostly comedic, it is rarely depressingly frightening. Mild
- Beth gets angry and starts breaking things at the beach. This scene is pretty intense.
- The apocalypse comes, people are seen with guns shooting each other, corpses are seen, cars are seen on fire and stores are seen robbed.
- Not as violent as the descriptions sound.

- Towards the end of the movie Beth, in an advanced zombie state is chained to a stove and at one point falls over backwards, she is wearing a dress and her underwear is clearly visible.
Violence & Gore
- One character shoots a man and a woman in the chest repeatedly (and the man in the head once), but they don't die.
- A young woman eats a man offscreen; we only see blood splatter on the glass, however we also hear the victim scream.
- Zach comes home to find a man in his house with a sword. Zach goes outside to find his family dead and burnt. It is later revealed that it was not them, but zombies.
- The apocalypse comes, people are seen with guns shooting each other, corpses are seen, cars are seen on fire and stores are seen robbed.
- A woman feeds her hand to her zombie daughter and says that she already ate her father.
- A young man shoots a young woman, who is currently chained to a stove, in the head at the edge of a steep hill, causing her dead body to fall off the edge and tumble down. We see a brief blood spurt from her head after he shoots her, and when she rolls down the hill the stove repeatedly crushes her, causing limbs to fall off. Although we see it from a distance, the long sticks and bloody stumps are enough to tell us that they are in fact limbs.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- After finding out she is dead, Beth goes insane and starts breaking everything and eating people. This is slightly disturbing, however isn't as bad as it sounds.
