Sex & Nudity

  • A number of Pinup stickers can be found and used on various weapons. No nudity, and extremely mild.

Violence & Gore

  • The game is not about killing. Players can complete objectives without killing anyone. The game is about teamwork and communication. Back in 1999, the first CS game was called a ,,killer game'' in many countries but for example in Germany, the game should be banned but the developers could convince experts that the game wasn't about killing so it wasn't banned and recieved a T (16+) rating (which is very mild for Germany) instead of an AO Rating.
  • When you are in a firefight outside of buildings, there is a little bit to no blood. If you are in a firefight inside a building or when you are shooting an enemy close to a wall, a bit of black blood splatter can appear on the wall. However, the blood disappears after every round of a match. These rounds are normally 1-5 minutes long.
  • In this strategic game, there are two fractions: Terrorists and Counter Terrorists. The Terrorists plant a bomb and the Counter Terrorists have to defuse it before it is detonated.
  • If the player is shot in the head with a heavy gun or while not protected by a helmet, they will hear a squishy crunching sound, accompanied by a large splash of blood appearing in third person.
  • While having a 16+ rating, most parents say 12+ because the game does not encourage you to kill
  • This game doesn't encourage you to kill. Instead, it encourages you to defuse bombs and conquer terrorists/criminals
  • Some blood detail. When enemies are shot, blood splashes from their wound and occasionally stains the environment. Players cannot inflict post-mortem damage on dead players. Some slight gore audio when hitting a player's head.
  • Since it is a strategic military simulation it contains moderate violence with guns and rifles.
  • There is no gore whatsoever and when you die it is very discreet and does not show much blood.

Profanity

  • Other players tend to heavily insult other players for not playing compotent.
  • Most language happens while playing online, but the free version of the game is offline play, so there isn't much profanity in that one
  • Players can (and they WILL) hear any type of swear words in every language.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • If a player gets shot in the head while wearing a helmet, a loud metallic breaking and scraping sound will be heard. Very loud and may scare the player. In turn if the player is not wearing one or gets shot with a heavy caliber weapon, the sound is overlapped by a squishy crunch.
  • In-game sometimes players will pop out of nowhere and may likely cause a heart attack.
  • When you die, you die, so you will be frustrated if you do.
  • This is a military simulation so it can be intense when playing.
  • When you die you dont respawn until the end of the match so you try to stay alive.
