Game Over, almost over
safenoe2 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is the fifth last episode of 30 Rock. Hard to believe.

I like the double and triple twist at the end of this episode where Jack kind of gets up on top. Quite hilarious in a Sixth Sense type of way.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.

Game Over (#7.9)

Warning: Spoilers
The battle between Kaylie and Jack has come to a finale and Jack won. Liz finds out that her marriage doesn't get her a newborn but she may think about adopting an older kid. Tracy is shooting a movie and the actress in it is just as horrible as Tracy usually is, so he tries to be like Liz to control her.

The Jack and Kaylie game over as great. A bit of a crazy end twist, but then again it is acceptable in this show and does seem fitting to Hank's character. Seeing Devon and Jack partner up was great, and I must say I didn't even expect it to end this way.

This was my favorite part of the show, the other two stories weren't as great.

Warning: Spoilers
Liz Lemon now married is getting tested to see if she can get a baby and out of no where in walks Dr. Leo Spaceman who talks over by recommending she take shots she gives him. He then leaves to be taken away to help the president. Back at work Tracey finds Liz taking her shots telling her Oscar winner Octavia Spencer will be his newly directed movie. Hank Hooper then comes to Jack's office to give his regards to Colleen dying. Hank's birthday is coming up and his plan is for Kaylie to take over the company when she turns 21. Jack is told until then he will be her assistant CEO. Jack walks in on Liz crying because of her shots and he figures he has three days to solve his Kaylie problem. Octavia Spencer comes in acting as diva on the set wanting to change everything. Jack then sees from Lenny that Devon Banks is keeping in close company with Kaylie. Jack then goes to meet with Jack to talk about them joining together, Devon then reveals that Kaylie is not Hank's granddaughter and they need DNA to find out if she is. Liz is told by her adoption adviser that she has four years to get a baby but if she adopts an older child it would be easier. Liz then comes into Jack with her three choices but she does not really know which one to pick. Liz is then in office as Devon and Jack tell their plan to deal with Kaylie. To get DNA off Kaylie's phone Jenna is then brought into the plan. Tracey try's to work with Octavia once again but she acts as a diva again or acting just like crazy Tracey. Kaylie then arrives in Jack's office after seeing through Jenna easily, but he then has another secret plan against her. When Tracey start's to act crazy Octavia goes even more crazy. Kaylie shows up at Jack's office once again and Jack think's he beat her but then the tables turn on Jack and Kaylie was too close with Devon. Jack defeated after sending Kaylie's results to Hank then reveals his other plan involving Hank's birthday and finally Jack beat her by her not celebrating Hank's birthday. Tracey and Liz then talk about old times and after this conversation Liz agrees to going for an older child. Great episode and Chloë Grace Moretz once again stole her short screen time and opposite Alec she is stunning. Some funny one liners by Jane and Will with the others stories fine but not as funny.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Chloë Grace Moretz)
