Sex & Nudity

  • A boy around 12 years old pulls his pants down at a group of soldiers, his bare buttocks are seen for a couple seconds. (Non sexual)

Violence & Gore

  • A violent riot takes place near the beginning. The mob throws rocks at soldiers and some blood is seen
  • The film opens on two men boxing harshly, being cheered on by other men.
  • A civilian chases a soldier through through several streets, shooting at him multiple times but he is not hit and escapes.
  • A man and woman are held at gunpoint and threatened twice.
  • A man is shot in the face at point blank range and we see brain matter and blood splatter on the wall behind him. This man's body is later shown with brain matter around/behind his head. We clearly see the bloody wound where he was shot and a stream of blood running along the pavement from the exit wound.
  • The main character has a very serious and grotesque injury in his abdomen and an older man sews it up. We see this in very raw, realistic and gruesome detail. This is disturbing as we can hear the character screaming in pain and a lot of blood is seen.
  • A character is stabbed with a knife. We see minimal blood where he is stabbed welling up around the protruding knife. The character who is stabbed coughs up blood and the camera lingers on him as he dies. This may disturb some viewers.
  • There is a climactic shootout. Multiple people are shot resulting in sprays of blood and bullet wounds.

  • 'C*nt' is said once as an insult.
  • 'H*ll' is said at least once.
  • 'B*stard' is said about seven times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two men drink from beer bottles while talking to a young boy. The boy is offered the bottle and takes a drink.
  • A man smokes a cigarette while talking to another man.
  • A man orders beers for himself and another man in a bar. Later a young boy arrives and drinks from one of the beers.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A soldier yells at a woman with her children, and orders another man to break things in her house to search for guns. The woman and children cry as a man is hit several times offscreen. He is later pulled from the house with his face bloodied.
  • The main character is in danger and being hunted during most of the film.
  • The large explosion and the aftermath may be difficult for some viewers.
  • Violence and killings throughout the film.
  • The whole movie is intense and features some very graphic and disturbing scenes. There are also some very emotional scenes, especially towards the end of the film.

Violence & Gore

  • There is a sudden building explosion that knocks out the main character and kills a handful of people. We see a burnt armless corpse of a child. This is quite disturbing. But at the same time is kind of satisfying as the kid was a racist bigot.
