It's New York City, 1928.
Samuel Hines, an out of town hit-man, is hired to do what he does best.
He has rented a room in a quiet upper west side hotel where he waits and waits. Eventually bored at the hotel and troubled by his inner thoughts, he wonders through the neighborhood from a jazz club, to a movie theatre, to a pool hall until the call finally comes.
Based on a true event, Hines is set to take out the biggest crime boss in New York City, Salvatore 'Toto' D'Aquila. The plan? Get in, get out and get back to Miami. A staunch professional, Hines sets out to execute the plan in a cold, efficient manner. He is the right man for the right job. But could a love interest and self-doubts cause him to make a crucial mistake?
