Weird movie

This was one weird movie, if I am being completely honest here.

Let me get this straight, you expect me to believe that both Chloe and Luke knew all along that the reporter was the serial killer and they set her up the whole time? Come on...

I was really hoping that the Greedy Chase guy would be the killer, however that would have been way too obvious.

When the reporter gets whacked in the back of the head in the end, before it gets revealed that Luke hit her, I was thinking that Chloe's colleague friend was the one that hit her on the back of the head.

I understand for these movies, you have to suspend your disbelief because it is all melodrama and whatnot, but come on.

Lifetime really needs to start using new actors/actresses for their films. Jennifer Murdock has been in too many movies in a quick amount of time. It feels like that this network enjoys flushing out Jennifer Murdock, Laurie Fortier, Matthew Pohlkamp, Alicia Leigh Willis, Brittany Underwood.

My favorite Lifetime actress is Karis Cameron.

Jennifer Murdock was just in "Danger Lurking Under My Roof" almost 2 weeks ago.

This is the first villain role that she has been in for Lifetime.

In my view, she was the best in that "Nightmare Office Affair" Movie.

I kind of wish that the colleague female friend would have had a bigger role in this film.

I thought that the main lead did a great job in her performance.

That Chase Guy got on my nerves real quick.

That ending is the reason for this low rating.

Best Lifetime Thriller in YEARS

Omg! This Lifetime Thriller just came out a couple weeks ago and it is fantastic! It was mysterious, creepy and fascinating throughout. I found myself going back and forth in my mind about how it was all going to turn out. Did I guess it? No. It's fascinating because the story is really good and somewhat original in my opinion. The actors and actresses are very talented in their roles. So many people seem suspicious but is it just the viewers own paranoia or maybe just mine! Lol But trust me that this movie held my attention every single second long. I was totally drawn in right away too! Watch this now. It's so good!

Miss Lillian's Secret

In film noir, the typical protagonist is a male living through a nightmare. In the case of "The Serial Killer Seduced Me" (aka, "Picture Her Dead"), it is a female artist who is trapped in the Kafkaesque experience.

Chloe Cochran is a struggling artist whose day job is a nurse's aide in an assisted living facility. Miss Lillian is an elderly patient who takes a liking to Chloe and gives her the gift of a fascinating painting. But when Chloe's overly zealous agent Chase mistakenly picks up the painting for a gallery exhibit and it is instantly sold, Chloe is troubled that she may be guilty of fraud.

Two other interesting characters are the intrepid investigative reporter Ariande and the dashing Luke, who begins a romantic intrigue with Chloe. But what hovers over the action is the secret that the late Miss Lillian was never able to reveal to Chloe.

The filmmakers synthesized many of the techniques of film noir with the mood lighting, jazz music, and relentless pressure exerted on Chloe's conscience. The actress playing Chloe was picture perfect in juggling multiple conflicts, particularly the annoying reporter.

The film is worth a watch especially for the imaginative twist at the end. This was a nice change of pace for Lifetime film in venturing into the vortex of the tension-filled world of film noir.

Lifetime movie worth watching!

Finally, a Lifetime thriller movie I didn't fast forward through. Yes, there were some flaws here and there, but over all it was a pretty good movie. I thought all the actors/actresses did a good job portraying their characters. Although, her agent was a little over the top and quite obnoxious. But, maybe they wanted him to be that way. Luke seemed a little cheesy at times, but I think I felt that way because I assumed he was the murderer. Most Lifetime movies can be figured out in the first 5 minutes! I did have my suspicions, but still was pleasantly surprised at the ending. I'd almost given up on watching Lifetime. Hope they continue striving for better movies.
