Only Gave it 8 Due to the actors performance

Warning: Spoilers
This was the last episode of the whole show that had only three seasons ,i guess as a whole season this one was the best.

From the first episode the show was on fire(some of the episodes were OK and only two were weak one of them was this one). The general idea of it was so powerful but when they developed it, it was somehow weak and unreasonable. The first problem was that the evil character brought to the show only in a few episodes before this one, only to put the blame on her as a murderer (which was a ridiculous thing to do!!!).

The second thing was that the story of the other cast wasn't completed.the writers just wanted to finish the show due the channel orders, and i think that they could make it in two parts which would've be more reasonable but like this it wasn't reasonable at all.

This show had it's moment and was so powerful in a lot of episodes, it is so shame that a series like this have only three seasons while a silly show like supernatural is now on its 13th season!

At least they didn't end on a cliffhanger

Warning: Spoilers
Such a shame about what happened to this show. It had a decent enough premise and a good cast, at least in seasons 1 and 2. But the execution was just ok. Then we got season 3, when it went downhill fast. I wish it had been more of an ensemble show instead of just about Megan. Take shows like CSI and Bones. They never had award winning writing but they were fun and you cared about everyone. Unfortunately, all of BOP's characters were only ever plot devices in service to Megan.

I always loved Curtis and Ethan. I liked the cops and Kate in the first two seasons. BOP might have lasted years longer if all of characters were ever developed and got more screen time. Have to say I was a fan of Mark Valley from Human Target, but both his character and his partner's were flat and boring. They didn't add anything to the show. Tommy's whole personality was the guy who had an affair with Megan and who wanted to date her again. His partner secretly/not very secretly having a powerful dad was pretty much his only character trait.

Kate never had anything to do at the start of the show but date Megan's ex and fight with her. Then she had a complete, unfortunate personality change at the start season 3. Her running for Senate came out of nowhere. Much worse, her one ally and mentor was very obviously a sleazy, corrupt villain from the start. She seems to know this the whole time yet stays by him, making her look so desperate for political success that she sells her soul before her career barely starts. Why would viewers continue to like her?

In the end, we had three seasons of characters we barely knew, besides Megan, and who got less and less screen time. There was just too much of Megan teetering around crime scenes dressed like a Desperate Housewife in her 4" heels, carrying her humongous purses, batting her false lashes while telling people off over and over. All other characters were sacrificed eventually while they spent too much time on the mystery of Megan's dad and corrupt city politics. We know none of this was working, since it got canceled.

I gave this episode 5 stars though because at least they didn't end the show on a cliffhanger. I give them credit for that. You want to yell at the screen that no police force would ever believe Megan's story that the Commissioner committed all the murders and how she was randomly saved by a serial killer who then disappeared. But it makes as much sense as some of the other plots this season so they were consistent to the end.

3.13 Very Disappointing Finale Episode: **1/2

Warning: Spoilers
I was extremely disappointed with the season finale.

From what I saw, this reexamination into the death of Dr. Hunt's father could have been done episodes before.

How her father's death was linked to the death of others, as well as police involvement was somewhat off the mark, and somewhat confusing to follow. The end is a real shocker by any standards.

The ending failed to explain how our Commissioner was such a villain.

I think we needed to see more of a romantic liaison between Tommy and Megan at the end. While it was understood, that the two invariably got together, more should have been made of this.

15 minutes of... Yeah, what?

Warning: Spoilers
If I had written this review halfway through the episode it would have been as follows:

Too bad they decided to follow the cliché that Megan's father was indeed murdered. Partly because it's incredibly predictable, and partly because I think this would have been an opportunity to point out how things happen much more often in real life. Namely that you can very much want to believe something, but that does not make it true. And that sometimes you have to accept things that are nearly impossible to accept. (Not as big episode story, but as a side one. Preferably right around the time of the letter investigation.) There are so many people who do not get the answers they want in Dutch a case, it hurts me a little they deside to give Megan her perfect story.

I would also have written that dispite that this episode was strong. It was clear that the detective had not done it, that jump was a pretty unsubstantiated jump to conclusions. But I was curious who would be the murderer and remained fascinated.

But to bad, I'm writing this review at the end of the episode. I would still write the first part, but boy did they manage to slam the strength out of the episode in fifteen minutes flet. The real killer pretty much falls out of the sky, the 'why' story is short and tattered, the rescue of the therapeutic killer goes completely against everything about this show and is deeply unsatisfying. There is a very quick hug with mom squeezed in somewhere (you miss it when you blink) and finally a complete character change to quickly bring two people together. Very, very disappointing.

It was too short.

Warning: Spoilers
This could of been a 2 hour final episode. It felt rushed to get to the ending. It didn't flow like that other episodes, a little stilted.

I felt like we need more information. Just because some one was in love does not explain all that she has done, or killed. The role of villain seemed out of character for the chief Martin. Although it was a nice plot twist to have Megan's therapist save her from the the chief.

With no body and no proof why kill those people after all that time. She could of blocked the order to exhume. It was kind of a let down. It felt more like a cliff hanger for another season then an ending. Also its an end of another show I love to watch, bummed.
