Least favorite episode so far!

I feel almost guilty writing this since as of yet I've been a huge fan of the show, however this episode was a complete disappointment to me! The characters personalities did a compete 180, so much so that I couldn't even recognize some of them. Anne Neville, who was my favorite character out of all of them, seemed cruel and cold in this episode completely unlike the lovable Anne we've all grown to love. The story line was very jumbled and made it extremely hard to follow. I didn't feel a connection to any of the characters in this episode. All the work they've done in building these characters up and giving them dimension fell flat with this one. Shame.

Episode Eight - The King is Dead

It was only when Queen Elizabeth's mother died that everything went wrong in her reign, she was the one who was making things work.

Just as in the beginning, King Elizabeth was very manipulable and later proved to be very corrupted by power, King Richard also had the same "evolution" as his brother.

Ah, I really didn't like Queen Elizabeth, so I'm already rooting for Margaret Tudor to steal their throne.

From now on we will no longer see Queen Elizabeth giving birth (I don't think so).

Episode eight of the first season of the Miniseries The White Queen watched on May 26, 2024.

Rating: 4/10.
