Great Slaughter hosts a big variety show, acts include singing sensation Tina Tiny, a magician and a clown called Mr Cuddles. Sister Boniface is on hand when one of the acts dies in tragic circumstances.
This episode was an absolute riot, a wonderful bunch of outlandish characters, a macabre death, and some genuinely funny moments.
Series two has genuinely been so good, such a consistent run of episodes, this is yet another corker.
You have to applaud the visuals, it looked great, the set, the costumes, it really was spot on. The acts were all bags of fun.
Once again you have to applaud the variety of events happening in Great Slaughter, whoever's arranging the village's events is doing a cracking job, more going on there than Central London.
Debra Cadabra, what a name!!
A fine cast were assembled for this one, John Thomson really stood out, such a cracking actor.
8/10.
