Hannah Hart, food puns and all, has arrived on TV. The 30-year-old creator, whose boozy web series My Drunk Kitchen has made her a YouTube star, is the host of the new Food Network show I Hart Food.
In her new show, which was announced last year, Hart will travel around the country and same local cuisine wherever she goes. Luckily, one of the most important parts of My Drunk Kitchen's appeal -- Hart's tendency to drop food puns as often as possible -- has successfully made the transition to TV.
In the lead-up to I Hart Food's arrival, Hart has given many interviews around the media world. In doing so, she has revealed the philosophy driving her new show. “For me, when I explore a city, I dictate the trip by the meals,” she told Food & Wine. “I like to see a place by literally looking up where...

Hart – known best for her YouTube series My Drunk Kitchen – has opened up about her mother’s struggle with mental illness in a new interview with ABC News’ Dan Harris for his podcast show 10% Happier.

It’s the rare Newswire piece about a beloved YouTube star making headlines that doesn’t force us to us phrases like “laughed about the Nazis” or “paid people to hold up signs re: murdering all the Jews.” But we’re in luck tonight, with Variety reporting that Lionsgate has signed a new deal with non-terrible YouTube star Hannah Hart. Hart—best known for her massively popular My Drunk Kitchen series, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like—has signed a first-look deal with the studio, with her prospective first feature being billed as an Lgbtq romance.
Hart previously starred in the film Dirty 30, with fellow YouTubers Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. She’s also the author of two popular books, My Drunk Kitchen and Buffering: Unshared Tales Of A Life Fully Loaded, and is currently in production on a travel show for Food Network. Hart currently...

When aspiring actress Mamrie Hart started her YouTube show “You Deserve a Drink” in 2011, she had no idea she would be making her first feature film just three years later. Back then, Hart’s friend Grace Helbig had a bit of a following on her own channel, and she decided to give it a whirl. One million subscribers later, and Hart found herself a bona fide YouTube star. Cue feature film deal.
Hart previously penned the script for 2014’s “Camp Takota,” also starring Helbig and “My Drunk Kitchen” creator Hannah Hart (no relation). According to industry insiders, “Camp Takota” saw big returns for producer Michael Goldfine, though exact numbers are unknown. Seth Rogen is currently on a publicity tour for his upcoming R-rated cartoon Sausage Party. One of his more charming stops was on My Drunk Kitchen, the YouTube series in which Hannah Hart gets drunk and tries to cook food. Rogen’s visit downplays the drinking angle and focuses instead on the food connection. He and Hart taste various sausages and try to guess what slightly unusual meat they’re made of.
Rogen isn’t particularly great at telling boar from pheasant, but the whole thing is pretty entertaining if only to see Hart’s peppy personality contrast with Rogen’s laid-back demeanor. And throughout the seven-minute video, Rogen seems generally bemused by the energetic world of YouTube he’s found himself in.

The woman who got famous by making drunk food in her humble kitchen is going to TV. Hannah Hart, whose success on YouTube has earned her 2.5 million subscribers, two book deals, multiple feature film opportunities, and many other rewards, will host a show on the Food Network that will launch later in 2016.
Hart’s show doesn’t currently have a title, but its premise was made clear to The Hollywood Reporter, which first shared the news of the upcoming program. In each episode, the 29-year-old YouTube star will travel to a city and search for budget restaurants where meals do not exceed the average price for dining out in that city.
The budget-eats bent of Hart’s new show will pair well with her digital personality. The sloppy and thrown-together nature of My Drunk Kitchen has caused its food items to be unpretentious and unfussy rather than highbrow cuisine, and...

Screaming tweens. Boy bands singing Drake. People talking to video cameras. VidCon, the annual convention for all things YouTube, vlogging, and digital media, is certainly a sight to behold. The term “content creator” is rarely thrown around quite so often as it was in the hallways of the Anaheim Convention Center last weekend. If one thing is certain, digital culture is a lot more advanced than it was a few years ago. What can we surmise from VidCon about the future of the industry that has better numbers than the views on “David After Dentist?” This is real life for the digital age.

Grace Helbig, Jenna Marbles, and Hannah Hart each began vlogging in 2008, 2010, and 2011, respectively. In Internet years, they’re ancient. Now, they’re credited with shaping the style and creating a language for a form of digital media that is now over ten years old.

The pair’s feature-length reboot of the cult 70s show Electra Woman and Dyna Girl proves female superheroes don’t have to be sexy, available – or even straight
This month, the superheroes Electra Woman and Dyna Girl embarked on their biggest adventure yet as they set off for Hollywood to follow their dreams, make it big, and (obviously) fight crime.
This feature-length reboot of the cult 70s show stars comedians, authors and YouTube stars Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart, who’ve forged both a creative union and friendship that has earned them fans worldwide. Hart’s first success was My Drunk Kitchen, which saw her – and, eventually, celebrity guests – cooking while (hilariously) intoxicated. Meanwhile, Helbig got her start on YouTube, creating and hosting the show DailyGrace, before springboarding into more hosting gigs - and authoring two books, Grace’s Guide: The Art Of Pretending To Be A Grown-Up and Grace & Style: The Art Of Pretending You Have It. (And the writing runs deep: Hart’s second book, Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded hits shelves in October.)

Two marketing agencies that share an owner are joining forces to create branded content. Edelman and United Entertainment Group (Ueg) have announced Starling, an offering that will work with top digital content creators on influencer marketing projects.
Starling will work with Edelman and Ueg’s brand clients to harness the power and influence of social media stars. An example of the program’s work is already available thanks to When The Water Boils, a recently-launched web series sponsored by Barilla that features My Drunk Kitchen’s Hannah Hart as its host. In each episode, Hart sits down with a guest and chats with them while a pot of water -- which will ultimately be used to cook Barilla pasta -- boils on the stovetop. The first of three episodes released thus far features Hart’s conversation with Bill Nye, noted Science Guy.

Hannah Hart Unveils Second Book Titled ‘Buffering’, A Collection Of Deeply Personal Narrative Essays
Hannah Hart, sporting newly platinum locks, just announced the follow-up to her first New York Times best selling book, My Drunk Kitchen -- which represented a seminal deal in the space as one of the first hit books to be released by a YouTuber.
But while My Drunk Kitchen comprised recipes, stories, photos, and more, piggybacking on Hart's notoriety as YouTube's favorite tipsy chef, her latest tome, Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded, seems decidedly more solemn. It will comprise a collection of narrative essays about intimately personal aspects of the 29-year-old’s life, including family, faith, love, sexuality, self-worth, friendship and fame -- all culled from her personal journals.
The book is available for preoder today and will arrive in stores October 18, Hart announced in a video today, in which she is besieged by emotions and must stop several times to take deep breaths -- all while...

Kin Community has added one of YouTube’s biggest stars to its roster of talent. The multi-channel network, which brands itself as “the global leader in women’s lifestyle,” has joined forces with Hannah Hart for a multi-year strategic partnership.
Hart is one of YouTube’s most beloved creators. After first coming to prominence as the boozed-up host of her My Drunk Kitchen web series, Hart has managed to build on her success and has expanded her presence to include vlogs, tours, and off-YouTube ventures. In her videos, when she’s not busy dishing out as many puns as possible, she maintains a consistent, positive attitude for her young fans.
It’s Hart’s voice that, in the eyes of Kin Community founder Michael Wayne, makes her a perfect addition to the network. “Hannah embodies Kin’s core values: she’s incredibly creative, fun, tenacious and philanthropic,” Wayne said in a press release.

YouTube's comments section is usually a cesspool of spam, hatefulness, and misogyny, but Hannah Hart and Coca-Cola are trying to clean that mess up. The host of My Drunk Kitchen teamed with the soda brand for #MakeItHappy, a campaign that asks multiple YouTubers to comment on their comments.
Beyond Hart, four more of YouTube's leading ladies--Jenna Marbles, Lilly Singh, Colleen Ballinger, and Mamrie Hart--agreed to participate in the video. In true Jimmy Kimmel Live fashion, they each read a mean comment from one of their videos and react accordingly. Hart then turns the tables on her three guests by presenting each of them with a supportive comment. The conclusion is simple and clear: If you're going to comment on YouTube, don't be a jerk about it.

There is no question that YouTube celebrities have become legitimate entertainers in 2014. This year, more than any in the past, these personalities penetrated the mainstream of the pop culture landscape. From films to award shows and everything in between, these Internet stars were practically everywhere proving that the millions of subscribers they have online want to see them on more than just their cellphones.

With some help from Sarah Silverman, Hannah Hart has put a twist on her My Drunk Kitchen series. She invited the comedienne onto her program for a special episode that replaces Hart's typical binge drinking with a few hits of weed. In the episode, Hart and Silverman make vegetarian pot pie, which tips viewers off about the smoky twist from the start. Silverman explains that she doesn't enjoy the taste of alcohol, so she instead produces a joint and sets off the first ever episode of what could be called My High Kitchen. Ultimately, the video resembles a typical My Drunk Kitchen episode, except Hart snacks on more of the ingredients and focuses a little more clearly on the task at hand. "Oh my god," she exclaims upon tasting the pot pie, "this is like real food!" Hart hopes the video generates discussion among her fans." Obviously this video may Spark some debate.

While YouTube is filled with gamers and beauty gurus galore, there’s a portion of its creators who are dedicated to something just as addicting: food. Many of YouTube’s most popular faces spend all their time in the kitchen, whipping up some tasty (but not always nutritious) treats. But how did these cooks become so famous on YouTube? Some chefs, such as Gordon Ramsay, Alton Brown, and Jamie Oliver, got started on traditional television, but quickly realized bringing their cooking smarts over to YouTube would help them expand their reach to new markets. Other “cooks” simply decided to break the rules, have fun, and upload their culinary experiments to the online video site. A perfect example is Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen, who now has a book in stores and is appearing on mainstream cooking shows because of her inebriated cooking antics. You can learn how to successfully...

The fourth edition of the Streamy Awards is set to roll into Los Angeles, and one of YouTube's most dynamic duos will take up hosting duties. Close friends and frequent collaborators Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart will host the Streamys ceremony, which will take place at The Beverly Hilton beginning at 7:30 Pst on September 7th. Helbig and Hart are both well-established YouTube personalities; Helbig creates vlogs on her It's Grace channel, while Hart shares boozy recipes on her My Drunk Kitchen cooking show. The most notable partnership between the two of them came earlier in 2014, when they teamed up with fellow YouTuber Mamrie Hart for Camp Takota, a feature-length film set at a summer camp. “The Streamys will be filled with memorable moments, show-stopping performances, and plenty of surprises,” said Helbig and Hart in a statement. “We’re overjoyed about hosting this year’s show together and spotlighting our...

YouTube star turned author Hannah Hart visited our New York studio to share some of her domestic and drinking genius! We made a recipe from her new book, My Drunk Kitchen, called the Pb&J+PC, otherwise known as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with potato chips. Hannah told us all about her new publication, which is on sale now, as well as how she got her start online thanks to a little "incident" in the kitchen.

Hannah Hart is officially in print. The My Drunk Kitchen creator has offered her fans a recipe book that teaches readers how to make their own booze-fueled culinary creations. The book is officially titled My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide To Eating, Drinking, And Going With Your Gut. It is readily available on Amazon, where it first became available at the end of January. Inside, readers will find plenty of Frankenstein monster food items (e.g. Saltine Nachos). Since this is Hannah Hart, there are also plenty of puns. In order to hype up her book, Hart has released a video alongside celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. Hart and Oliver have collaborated together in the past; the talented Brit is very involved in YouTube thanks to his FoodTube channel. This time, Hart and Oliver cook the Hartwich, one of the recipes from the new book. This process mostly amounts to Oliver...

Epic Meal Time and Arnold Schwarzenegger aren’t the only incredibly popular online video series and celebrities collaborating to help a good cause. My Drunk Kitchen and Mary Louise Parker are cooking something charitable up, too. Hannah Hart recently welcomed the Weeds star into her kitchen and on camera so the pair could bake up a batch of brownies using impromptu ingredients, several glasses of wine, at least one comment relevant to Parker’s film career, and as many puns and marijuana references as possible. The collab resulted in one fantastic marketing video for Parker’s Omaze campaign and some highbrow foodstuffs that she described as “Woah...I mean I’m not kidding” delicious. You can contribute to Bake Brownies With Mary-Louise Parker And The Cast Of Weeds for a shot at winning a baking session and Weeds viewing marathon with the cast of Genji Kohan’s hit Showtime series,...

Hannah Hart most likely very often gets confused with Katniss Everdeen, because the girl is on fire. The twentysomething amateur chef, apt musician, budding author, and burgeoning motion picture star uploaded her very first My Drunk Kitchen video to YouTube on March 16, 2011. In the three short years since, Hart's gone onto write her very own cookbook (published by Harper Collins' It Books imprint and set to hit the shelves in August 2014), star alongside friends and fellow YouTube phenoms Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart in the very successful straight-to-download feature length film Camp Takota, win a Streamy award, and amass a rabid fan base that's now over one million YouTube subscribers strong. We recently caught up with Hannah to hear about what she's up to and how it feels to cross the seven-figure subscriber mark. Tubefilter: What do you have to say to your one million YouTube subscribers? Hannah Hart: Hello!

President Barack Obama can now count a handful of YouTube stars among his top advisors. On Thursday, February 27, 2014, Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen and Camp Takota; Tyler Oakley of being awesome on the internet; Iman Crosson, who the online video and Vine worlds know as Alphacat; Michael Stevens of VSauce; Benny and Rafi Fine of The Fine Bros. (and a possible Nickelodeon TV series); Mark Douglas, Todd Womack, and Ben Relles of YouTube’s very own Barely Political; Peter Shuckoff and Lloyd Ahlquist of Epic Rap Battles of History; and Mickey Meyer and Daniel Kellison of burgeoning online comedy network Jash all sat around a large conference table with the 44th President of the United States for the better part of an hour, discussing ways in which the White House could do a better job of reaching the YouTube generation. The meeting wasn’t about any single topic (though...

YouTube vloggers Grace Helbig (It’s Grace), Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen), and Mamrie Hart (You Deserve a Drink) have teamed up for a feature-length film, in which a woman returns to her childhood summer camp after her big-city life falls apart.
In our exclusive clip below, Elise (Helbig) settles in for a series of rude awakenings involving actual wakeup calls, gross camp food, archery, finger-painting, and improvised methods of sanitation. Is it weird that I keep thinking “This Grace Helbig is a regular Phyllis Nefler”? I’m not sure the YouTube generation knows what that means.

The food-porn addicts at Epic Meal Time aren’t the only prominent YouTube stars to embrace one of the oldest forms of traditional media. Hannah Hart went and got herself a book deal, too. The Streamy Award-winning host of the online video hit My Drunk Kitchen turned her series about a girl with great culinary intentions and an easily accessible supply of alcohol into a 240-page pen-and-paper version replete with recipes, stories, full-color photos, and drawings to inspire your own “adventures in tipsy cooking.” Here’s a taste of what specifically will be inside My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide To Eating, Drinking, And Going With Your Gut: Nachos for Juan (Because sometimes everyone at the party is a jerk and you need to eat a plate of cheese and chips alone in a corner) Homemade Alcoholic Otter Pops Better Butter Cookies (involves a lot of butter and some flat...

If you feel like you've missed out on the year in pop culture, YouTube has your back. The video-sharing website has put together their annual year in review music video, which recreated 2013's biggest moments and sets them to the hit songs you couldn't escape. They best part is they do it all with YouTube stars.
In the 2013 YouTube Rewind, you'll see bigger names like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and some "Sesame Street" characters, but the real fun comes from those who have gotten famous through the site. The guys from "Smosh" are doing a "Breaking Bad" twerk, while Hannah Hart from "My Drunk Kitchen" is Miley Cyrus, with Rhett and Link as her teddy bear dancers.
There are also appearances by Grace Helbig ("Daily Grace"), Harley Morenstein ("Epic Meal Time"), Freddie Wong ("Video Game High School"), Jenna Marbles and an endless supply of others, who all look like they're having a great time.

As a modern internet-using human, your online life is not complete if you haven.t binge-watched one or all of the following: My Drunk Kitchen, Daily Grace, and You Deserve a Drink. These witty and wacky webseries are fronted by Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, and Mamrie Hart respectively. And their massive success has led the trio, who often offer crossover eps, to more than 3 million YouTube subscribers, 300,000 Twitter followers and 250,000 Facebook likes. The obvious next step for these three funny friends was a movie, which they announced at their live No Filter Show, viewable above. Together these kooky comediennes starred in a movie called Camp Takota. The film directed by Nick Riedell and Fruitvale Station's Chris Riedell was intended to be distributed by Chill. However, The Wrap reports Chill is downsizing dramatically, and in addition to cutting its entertainment staff, the company is also letting loose its claims on movies,...

Saturday, August 3, 2013 was the second official day of VidCon, and out of the vast number of amazing panels, one stood out for me above the rest. Four rooms of the Anaheim Convention Center combined together to set the massive stage for “Being Lgbt on YouTube”. Jet and Star (aka The Wing Girls) played the roles of moderator to a panel comprised of Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen, Jenna Anne of Lesbian Answers, Tyler Oakley, Davey Wavey, and Meg Turney of SourceFed. Between the huge personalities of those on stage and the bodies filling every seat, the quadruple room was nearly at capacity. But despite the size of it, the panel truly felt like an intimate open conversation about the community and the issues. It was abundantly clear that every person in the audience cared immensely about being there. Aside from the vast number of people listening, the panel had...

The internet is kind of a geek dream come true – it’s a place for fandoms to find their people and connect online over the things they are so passionate about. No one understands this better than Felicia Day, actress, founder of Geek & Sundry — a website dedicated to nerd culture — and herself a superfan of many elements of geek culture. One of her first projects was a web series called The Guild, which was essentially a love letter to online gaming. Her site is hosting today’s GeekWeek on YouTube “Fan Friday” — a theme Day feels particularly embodies geekdom.

Three inseparable gal pals are teaming up for a feature film extravaganza. Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart, known for their respective shows Daily Grace, My Drunk Kitchen, and You Deserve A Drink, will star in Camp Takota, a project set for exclusive release via pay-to-view platform Chill. Helbig, Hart, and Hart (Can I call them the Triple H Gang?) have already appeared in many videos together, including collaborations on all three of their channels. Most recently, they united for a live variety show called #NoFilter, which they brought to Boston, New York, and DC a couple months back. At Vidcon, they came together to present the trailer for Camp Takota, which features nothing but corpsing. I agree with Hannah; I don't see how they'll stop laughing long enough to actually shoot a movie. Camp Takota will be produced by RockStream Studios and directed by Internet Icon champs The Brothers Riedell.

On Thursday evening, The Young Turks partnered with The Rubin Report and YouTube to host a panel and party to celebrate their #ProudToLove campaign and the supreme court decisions on Doma and Prop 8. After introducing his panel of Jonny McGovern, Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen, Hello Harto!), Whitney Mixter (The Real L Word), Alec Mapa (Showville), and Bree Essrig (BREEessrig), host Dave Rubin began the night by asking the panel how they were feeling about the striking down of Doma. Alec Mapa immediately brought up a memory of a time in which he had to go through customs with his husband and son, but the agent informed him he and his family were not allowed to pass through as a single unit. For him Doma means, “We’ll be able to go through customs like everybody else. And that seems like kind of a trivial thing, but it did matter.

When we last heard from Hannah Hart, YouTube's in-house drunk chef, she had just released a song as she disembarked on her worldwide Hello, Harto tour. Hart is now multiple cities in, and the amount of content she releases every week has been quite a feat. Her weekly Hello, Harto tour show is a treat. Each short video does contain local flavor from whatever city Hart and her crew happen to be visiting at the time, but the most impressive part of each episode are the strong narratives that she establishes, heightened, and resolved all in the space of three or four minutes. The real tourism comes on Hart's secondary channel, YourHarto, where we get some legit looks at her scenic all-American (and Canadian) tour. She is averaging about four or five auxiliary vlogs a week, making her's an almost daily update schedule a la Shaycarl or her pal DailyGrace.

After raising heaps of money on Indiegogo, expanding to Europe and Oceania, and releasing a full tour map, Hannah Hart is finally embarking on her Hello, Harto tour, where she will travel around the work and record her adventures through a hybrid vlog/travel series/cooking show. To celebrate the occasion, the multi-talented YouTuber has released a new song, titled "Don't Wait To Say Hello", and has enlisted her fans to help craft an accompanying music video. "Don't Wait To Say Hello" is a reminder that Hart isn't just a drunk girl who serves up slapdash kitchen creations; she also has a great singing voice. This time around, she has collaborated with all of her fans, asking them to take video as they walk in a 'haters gonna hate' style across whatever interesting backdrops they so desire. They came through by spreading the Harto love across supermarkets, water parks, army bases,...

Hannah Hart is putting the $223,000 she raised her Hello, Harto tour to good use. The My Drunk Kitchen has released a map revealing the 21 American and Canadian cities she will visit as part of her road trip. There's nothing too surprising; the 21 chosen cities are some of the biggest on the continent. Hart will start in Los Angeles and drive up the West Coast, hitting San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver. She will then make her way back east through Calgary, Minneapolis, and Cleveland. In the Rust Belt, she will swing by Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit, and after a brief Canadian return in Toronto, she will drive down the East Coast through Boston, New York City, and Washington DC. In the South, she will hit Atlanta, New Orleans and Austin and will then arrive back in La after a stop in Denver. Got all that? At each location, Hart will host a charity meet up.

Since the birth of YouTube in 2005, the platform that hosts Everything, including actors, artists and comedians — has spread like wildfire, launching careers and shining a spotlight on many outstanding talents beyond that dog on the skateboard. Eight years later, rather than being a springboard for these creatives to move to TV or labels, the Internet has become another medium for them to showcase their work. The third annual Streamy Awards will honor that work this Sunday.
Chris Hardwick, comedian and host of The Talking Dead on AMC, will host the show. He is an advocate for the global, niche audiences online shows reach.

When Hannah Hart launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for her Hello, Harto road trip, there was never any doubt regarding her ability to raise the $50,000 she needed. Sure enough, Hart needed only six hours to scrounge up the requisite funds and ensure the production of her new series. However, 50k turned out to be only the beginning. The Hello, Harto campaign has officially ended, with the My Drunk Kitchen host raising a whopping $223,000. Hello, Harto will take Hart to cities all over the world, where she will release travel vlogs detailing her experiences. Of course, My Drunk Kitchen will continue as well, with the show going on the road to various fans' fully-loaded kitchens. The money Hart earned will allow her to expand the scope of Hello, Harto beyond its initial Us-centric plans. While Hart will still visit several American cities (with major metropolises such as New York,...
