Not bad by any means, but I am not sure who the target audience here is

Warning: Spoilers
"Making of Game of Thrones" is a 25-minute behind-the-scenes documentary and I believe the title here is pretty telling what this is. It is from 2011, so already over half a decade old and it is an add-on to the very first season of the highly successful, still running television show "game of Thrones". It starts really badly as early on this one does the one thing these documentaries never should do, which is highly praise themselves in a way that is fairly cringeworthy to listen to. People who watch this bought the DVD, so you don't need to convince them of anything guys. It gets better. One of the strength here is that the interviewees are chosen wisely. It is a nice mix of actors and people working behind the camera. The main problem this documentary has is described by me in the title. It is nothing that will get people really interested in this show as honestly with the contents and quotes by the interviewees, it is all very basic and general and does not offer a great deal of depth at all. And those who like or even love the show will also only be happy to see these influential actors and writers and filmmakers... but they are certainly not gonna learn anything new either. There are actually many behind-the-scenes documentaries about this famous show, maybe more than about any other, also thanks to the longevity, but I truly hope most of the others are better than this one here. Not recommended.
