Russell Brand is a breath of fresh air
kyrenaika6 March 2023
Russell Brand is a breath of fresh air on this more recently biased left fest than has been seen on here in a long time. Too bad that when he brought out facts that Bill and that other mouthpiece tried to talk over him to keep him from revealing the truth. And then when it was his turn to talk (the mouthpiece), it was nonsensical sputum. And when challenged, he said "give me one example" and then wouldn't shut up and listen for an answer, kept rudely spewing anger at Brand because he didn't want to hear the truth. When Russell could finally get a word in, he gave him not one example, but two. And what was his response? To keep talking over him. That's not debate, it's just rude and smacks of fear of the truth.

Bill needs to find guests that can have a civil conversation without bullying the other guests who are being respectful. It's no wonder that his quality has gone down because it's either 2 guests who fully agree with each other and talk talking points and it's boring or it's two people who mostly agree with each other and talk talking points and it's boring. For the first time in a long time, there's 2 people who disagree and it says a lot to character to see who's respectful and debates the topics and who's there to just spew insults and bully the other because they have nothing to add (except talking points).

Maybe Bill's new format wants him to be a good boy and tow the line, so don't expect any intelligent debate in the future. Who's talking in his ear to get him to squelch Russell's speech?

He tried to shut up Russell Brand, but he was not having it
nakrugt5 March 2023
Another mediocre episode of Real Time with Willhelm the Third Maher other than Willhelm the Third Maher tried to shut up Russell Brand, but Russell Brand was not having it.

Yes, after about four long years, the audience has tastes a piece of truth and facts on this show, and it did not come from Willhelm the Third Maher. Russell Brand spoke with eloquence and gravitas that was equal to that of a true journalist, not to anger or antagonize anyone or any sides. Easliy, stole the show and the live audience.

If you watch this show, the people who start laughing at Maher's "jokes" are always the same, but the people who clapped for Russell Brand were different people.

Thanks Russel Brand for speaking the truth.
