Warning: Spoilers
I don't know why we needed that "reveal" at the end of Stella's background with Paul Marx because they are not going to make her the bad guy in this scenario.

Still, the absurdity of the lockdown protocols and how a major network can still be hacked like this in 2023, or whatever year it is there, is illuminating.

I am glad they did not go the ridiculous route of having the money requested in bitcoin and then one character says, "What the heck is bitcoin?"

The show is a little more fresh this season, but it is still the kind of juicy soapy throwback that used to plague broadcast networks in the 90's and 00's and is gone now.

The second half of the two-episode premier addressed the cliffhanger in the first episode, but Cory, Bradley, and Paul Marks all survived and didn't realize they lost connection with the ground. The big news is Alex (Jennifer Aniston) missing the trip. As she returns to New York, she reaches out to Board Chair Cybil to break the news of Cory's attempted deal with Paul Marks. Alex thinks it will give her an edge, but her position isn't secure. In response, she's forced back on The Morning Show full time, with no recourse, despite her frustration. UBA has been hacked, revealing all UBA files and data, including personal files from stars like Bradley and Laura. The hackers demand $10 million or release the compromised files, which Bradley uses to convince Cory to pay. The board denies the request, and the data will become public. Cybil fires a shot over Cory's bow regarding the Paul Marks deal, causing a battle between the two. Bradley is caught in the crossfire, revealing the hack on her evening broadcast and waiting for the information's release. Alex rallies to Bradley's house for crisis management, and the fallout will be seen in future episodes. Despite the ongoing battle, the main team is back, and the fallout will be seen in future episodes. In The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 2, Bradley, Cory, and Paul reconnect with Earth and reveal the space view. Alex is forced to do TMS five weeks a day due to her betrayal and not going to the space. The newsroom loses connection to the system due to glitches and hackers extorting money. They send Cory a video of Bradley and her ex-lover, Laura, demanding 50 million dollars if she doesn't want the video to be made public. Cory informs Bradley, who is taken aback and worried. She requests Cory to pay the money, but Cybil refuses. Bradley requests Alex to help, but Alex refuses without hearing the truth. Alex discovers that Chip is having an affair with someone close to her, and Cory wants to use the cyberattack to his advantage and leak the news of his deal with Paul. He initially believes Paul has hacked into their system, but this is not the case. The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 2 has become a chaotic soap drama, with employees worried about a hacker accessing their phones connected to the office WiFi. The makers have not revealed who is pulling the strings, and the plot twists lack a solid underlying message. The characters have become one-dimensional and the premise has become confusing. Alex is constantly freaking out, while Bradley's plot seems to be messed up due to the newsroom drama. Cory, once a remarkable and grey character, seems to have lost his grip on everything. The show's chaotic premise and lack of compelling characters have contributed to its dissatisfaction. The episode's plot is tense and the fast pace doesn't add suspense. However, the suspense is set to unravel, and the execution is expected to improve. The storyline is amidst the chaos, but the fast pace doesn't provide any suspense.

This show........

This show....... I.... I don't know how to say it.

I have to ping pong back and forth between this and episodes of Barry. These shows are not easy to watch, especially multiples back to back. Not binge worthy.

Watching these episodes feels like homework.

I watched seasons 1 and 2 maybe a year ago, and picking up season 3 now... the inability of jennifer Aniston's mouth to move completely is so distracting.

And so many other actors are absolutely terrible.

Nestor is good. Cruddup is good.

Duplass is fine.

But everyone else...so unappealing.

This is like the newsroom but you don't care what happens to anyone.

I'm actually rooting against everyone on this show.
