Solid episode, but does a poor job of addressing abortion.
noahtbryant27 March 2023
There was little to no plot progression for most of the characters, but the way the writers incorporated the abortion issue into the episode's plot was creative and engaging. This episode gives the following episode the potential to be spectacular. The cliffhanger at the end of the episode was the highlight of the episode. My main problem with this episode is that they used a metaphor to show the hypocrisy of "pro-lifers" rather than address the issue in a meaningful way similar to how they did in episode 19x5. If it weren't for the ineffective way of addressing an important issue, this episode could be much better.

too much over acting..

This kind of over acting can really not work in favor of these issues in the minds of people who do not agree with you.

I am not saying that episode like this is supposed to be a mind changer but if someone from the other side would watch this episode they would look at the same over acting and probably think to themselves "seee? They always exaggerate and get allllll emotionall and snowflakey instead of dealing with the arguments"

i am all for women having choice in this matter as in the end it is THEIR body that will have to deal with all the complications and body changes that come with being pregnant but for a show like this to portray this issue in this kind of manner is definitely not helping the conversation.

Just terrible...

More politics
pipersday9617 June 2023
If I wanted to watch this much over acting and histrionics I would turn on the daytime soap operas. And again with the over the top political agenda. And the information is false and inflammatory. The majority of anti-abortion protestors are quiet and peaceful - not hateful and brick throwing. As far as abortion goes, how many women have actually died because of negligent abortions since the over turn of Roe V Wade? The argument of abortion is not one-sided but the show illustrates it in this way. Why can't the writers fairly show both sides? It seems like the writers are losing their abilities to weave a good story so they are throwing dramatic politics into the show in an effort to create sensationalism and draw viewers. Not impressed.
