A new Christmas staple!

Well here we go again! Last night was my first time seeing the film in it's entirety and I have to say I actually was pleasantly surprised. Similarly to Longo's other film from last year, the pacing of this was perfect. There wasn't a dull moment and kept the film moving even during the more intense scenes. Once again shot on tape, it's nice to see tape fx that are just a part of having to deal with old media. The sound quality was much better this time around, there's only a few parts that are still alittle bit difficult to hear but this release comes with closed captions <33333333

Also jesus the sfx actually made me cringe a few times! Incredible job!

Screw's voyeur scenes were one of the funniest moments in the film, really stole the whole show!

There are so many Philly haunts in this film, like if you're from here or a Philly expat, this is gonna warm your heart. It's actually shocking how many different locations are in this movie and every single one feels like it's supposed to be there rather than feeling over-bloated. Mad props for all the Philly bands featured in this film and the amazing Shag Rat (of Acid Witch) for the sick cover art, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to have my chopped off head as artwork, thank you <3

SOV is back baby and it's so much more fun! This film expertly captures the gore, quips, and romance of the genre, tbh an extremely strong second feature from the director.

Finally, I was in this!! I wanted to take some time to talk about being on set as I just feel that's important to do to give people a sneak peak into the magic! First off, I picked my role after reading the script, and the director/writer worked with me to make sure I was comfortable when shooting said role. It actually was a ton of fun, the cast and crew cracked jokes then entire time of shooting and we also were well stocked with food and beer at all times. In-between every cut was another joke which alleviated any tension, and everyone was so respectful even when I was completely stripped! I really appreciate how mature but jovial this experience was and it's reignited my desire to act again. I've said it often but even when movies are gore-y or extreme on the screen, it matters more how the cast and crew were doing behind the scenes.

Thank you to everyone, crew, cast, and Spring House for giving us so much beer omg.
