Bad, but theres potential.

First off, I was not able to finish the movie. I made it about 20 minutes in and was disappointed. There are some good elements like the costuming and a lot of the cinematography. I can imagine the feel the creators are going for, but the pacing brings the whole movie down. The part I was able to get through could have lasted half the time, and it's painfully obvious the actors couldn't remember their lines. There were some funny bits, but they didn't hit as hard as they could have because the actors weren't confident. I truly believe if these things were worked on more (especially remembering the lines) the team who made this could make something decent or even good.

His name is Robert

Warning: Spoilers
Bunny O'Braska (Elizabeth Rath) is a Vegas go-go dancer sometime during the sixties. Prostitutes are being murdered in town by a giant Rabbit. Bunny answers an a in a magazine to go on a date with "Robert" who we all know is our rabbit. Bunny lies to her boyfriend back home and claims she is working as a secretary in Hollywood. He suspects something is wrong because her area code is off. Her best and only friend is Trinity (Jared Masters) a cross-dresser who does tricks.

The film brags about being filmed on location. Most of the production is filmed in Bunny's motel room with a bunch of "girl talk" that is unrelated to much f the film. Trinity is also a palm reader who predicts Bunny has only hours to live. Film is on the camp side, but not good enough to watch.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Oh dear God...

Right, well when I sat down to watch the 2024 movie "Easter Evil", I was expecting to be in for a horror comedy. Sure, I hadn't heard about the movie prior to sitting down and watching it, but I figured that I would give the movie a chance, since it was a horror comedy that I hadn't already seen.

Talk about a swing and a miss. I don't know what writers Jared Masters and Elizabeth Rath were thinking when they concocted the script and storyline here. It was a horrible viewing experience, complete with wooden acting performances, cringeworthy dialogue and just downright boredom.

Needless to say that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list here. Not that I would say that there was any acting going on at all throughout the 37 minutes of pure boredom that I suffered through. It was wooden performances with lifeless deliveries of cringeworthy dialogue.

I made it almost halfway through the abysmal ordeal that is "Easter Evil", then I was ready to claw my eyes out. This is definitely not a movie that I will ever return to a second time and attempt to finish watching. The first time around was more boring that any man has to endure.

Do yourself a favor and stay well clear of this dumpster fire of a movie. It wasn't so bad that it even surpassed being so bad that it was fun to watch. Yeah, "Easter Evil" was just hands down a waste of time.

My rating of "Easter Evil" lands on a one out of ten stars.

Dont waste time - spoiler

Warning: Spoilers
I like low budget movies which usually dont have a story but this movie had no idea where it was going. Unlike most i watched till the end.

The killer rabbit is in it fot less than 10 mins and even then its pointless. Worst kill in a movie ever. Also says the Rabbit wont finish till everyones dead? And only 1 killl 🤦. Was bad when the girl realises she is stabbing with the hand without the knife.

If you like watching a poor attempt at a transvestite waffling on about nothing for 1 hr 5 mins of a 112 min movie then this is for you.

About as funny as piles, deffinately not worth anyones time, as the makers obviously didnt spend the time watching this back themselves.

Zero substance - absolutely none
HorrorFilmHellion6 April 2024
I can't put this in any category of something to offer.. The quickest way to summarize this one is 2 people sitting in a motel room talking about nothing, and doing nothing. If you are expecting any type of horror, or any type of movie of substance, prepare for total disappointment. Everything about this is a waste of time and space. I don't really have anything else to say about it, but I need another 200 characters to ramble on about how my mind is boggled by this poor attempt of human art. Space waster space waster space waster don't read forty eight useless characters to go to fill out this warning.. done.

Jared is the MASTER
mondovideo3 March 2024
Jared Masters gets me like most modern filmmakers fail to; he is funny, he is campy, and he knows what makes a good movie -- effortlessly. Easter Evil is yet another success of his, but a rather lowkey movie. Consisting mostly of it's main character, Bunny, and her best friend, Trinity (played, incredibly, by Masters himself), gossiping in her hotel room. But really, the bulk of the enjoyment comes from their gossip; his script is crazy and humorous and had me laugh-out-loud cackling at times. Yes, there is a killer Easter Bunny, but honestly, who CARES? I could watch a whole film of Trinity talking to the camera. She is HILARIOUS. The brilliance really lay in the dialogue, set, and costume aesthetics. For anyone who is into cult cinema, this is a must watch!
