If there's one song that will be forever associated with an artist despite a long successful career, then "Papel Machê" by João Bosco will be forever his most
memorable moment. And it gets a bonus with the music video released in 1984 which presents his performances on a fancy club in Rio.
The video is divided in two parts: one starting with the singer inside of a car, smoking a cigar, all elegant as being a man of power; then it cuts to his performance and his group inside of the club, showing some high class people dancing and smiling through the act. It's all colorful and rich but awfully dated - it's fun in a peculiar way.
But if you're here it's because of the hit song, one of the most poetic creations of Bosco, and that wouldn't translate well in a video if presenting some romantic scenario. The way it's presented, as an artist performance, really works quite nice and it doesn't contain many of the cheap values of those "Fantástico" videos and specials. This one looks pretty good. 8/10.
