- The guys fight to save The Drunken Clam from closing after Horace dies; Meg gets a job at a funeral home.
- Peter and his friends try to go through great lengths to save the Drunken Clam after Horace is accidentally killed by Jerome during a softball match. Peter and his friends stay at the bar overnight after the bank plans on demolishing the bar. However, Jerome has already bought the Drunken Clam from the bank, Peter and his friends become overjoyed that they have their bar back. Meanwhile, Meg gets a job at the morgue, but Chris takes one of the bodies so he could go into R-rated movies with a grown up. Meg becomes furious at Chris and she forces him to pose as the deceased person during the funeral, the widow reveals that her husband is a donor and Chris' face is grafted onto a young woman, he becomes angry at Meg.—dawsonpersi
- During a Drunken Clam softball game with Goldman's Pharmacy, Jerome is brought in as a ringer for Mort's team. To win the game Horace tries to strike him out and is hit by the ball and killed. During the funeral, Jerome apologies but Peter admits it was just a random chance occurrence. They guys say their goodbyes and head out to have a blow out at The Drunken Clam only to find the bar is foreclosed. The guys are forced to drink at home and Lois objects. Peter and the guys sneak into the Clam for a night of drinking. When they come to the next morning, they find the building is about to be demolished and Peter pulls a gun and demands they stop as he claims ownership of the bar. During the stand-off, Joe finds himself in an uneasy position and bails out. Lois shows up and demands he come out. Joe is given the task to talk the guys out but when he enters, he rejoins their side and turns against his chief. As they are all threatened with arrest, Jerome reveals that he used his sports earnings to buy the bar and keep it open. They guys find their booth at the Clam taken over by new patrons and themselves relegated to a space on the floor near the garbage.
During the funeral, Meg has to go to the bathroom and stumbles into an embalming session. Her lack of squeamishness impresses the director and he offers her a job. Chris shows up and plays with the deceased bodies to Meg's annoyance. When she goes to dress a body, she finds it is missing and accuses Chris of pulling a stunt. Chris admits that he used it to get into "R" rated movies and took it swimming until it fell apart and she insists that they have a body to show. During the funeral, Chris poses as the body despite having itchy balls which Meg scratches for him. As they progress, they find that the deceased face was donated for a transplant and Chris loses his, telling Meg that even though he can't frown he is unhappy.
