With Vanderpump Rules paused for the foreseeable future, Lala Kent is lining up an exciting new gig.
Page Six reports that the former SURver is in “early talks” to join the cast of The Valley, which is set to film this summer.
The move isn’t surprising since the 33-year-old recently purchased a new home in the Valley.
It also helps that she has connections to the cast, which includes former Vanderpump Rules stars Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, and Jax Taylor.
The spinoff has been pulling in decent numbers for Bravo out of Vanderpump Rules, but the actual test will be how it holds up airing without the mothership series.
Adding some Vanderpump Rules alumni will surely interest fans, even if they’re not required.
Could Lala Kent be brought in to film with Kristen Doute?

Vanderpump Villa is one of Lisa Vanderpump’s spinoffs that rose out of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, but Priscilla Ferrari left the Hulu show. Many people who work well with Lisa can turn their lives around like Lala Kent. So, why did the server walk away from the matriarch’s new show? Read on to find out.
Vanderpump Villa Fans Saw Lots of Drama On Hulu
From the trailer of Lisa Vanderpump’s new show, fans immediately noticed the similarities to Bravo’s Below Deck. However, instead of a vessel, the crew lives and works in a fancy French chateau owned by the Vanderpump Rules matriarch. Naturally, that led to lots of drama among the 12 people employed to look after wealthy guests. Priscilla Ferrari worked as a server alongside Hannah Fouch.

Vanderpump Rules is changing its production schedule, opting to not film season 12 this summer.
TMZ first reported that unlike previous seasons of the hit Bravo reality series, which typically begin production in May and film throughout the summer, Vanderpump Rules‘ upcoming season won’t begin taping until later.
Sources told the publication that the network felt the cast deserved a break to “let their lives breathe a bit in the wake of Scandoval,” with hopes of some fresh drama that doesn’t involve the Tom Sandoval-sparked scandal from the spring of 2023. An additional factor in the decision to not film this summer is Ariana Madix’s stint as host of Love Island USA, as she will be filming in Fiji for a few months.
Though TMZ didn’t share when production is expected to pick up for season 12, it noted that it won’t be a full-year hiatus.

[Warning: The below contains spoilers for the April 29 episode of Vanderpump Villa.] The drama has boiled over at the Chateau Rosabelle on Vanderpump Villa. So much that Priscilla Ferrari decided it was her time to leave the French estate after meeting with boss Lisa Vanderpump. Surely, the explosive dinner the staff had on their day off didn’t help matters. Hannah Fouch and Chauntel “Telly” Hall found themselves at the center of the heated discussion that resulted in fireworks at the dinner table, putting a damper on the picturesque and classy ambiance. Things got spicy when Emily Kovacs called out the two as “mean girls” for talking about Gabriella Sanon’s looks behind her back. Priscilla could relate, already having a run-in with Hannah after she felt some type of way about how she was sitting with her on-off again guy Marciano Brunette. The Brazilian had enough and was also feeling homesick. She leaves a void in the workforce with...

Rap and hip-hop music have a long legacy of challenging oppressive powers. In upcoming Hulu documentary “Hip-Hop and The White House,” injustices against music creators of color are re-examined within the historical lens of political movements.
The film is written and directed by Sundance alum Jesse Washington, who has documented hip-hop since the 1980s and has been a senior writer at Andscape since it launched in 2014 as The Undefeated. His film credits include “Bearing Witness: A Portrait Of Darnella Frazier” for ESPN+ and “March On Washington: Keepers Of The Dream” for Nat Geo.

While Vanderpump Rules is in its eleventh season, it hasn’t gotten the response producers expected. With a new Pump Rules on the block, Vanderpump Villa, fans are wondering if it will be sliding in as a replacement.
Vanderpump Villa Is The Newest Pump On The Block
In Vpr‘s Season 11, fans are getting all the deets about what has been happening. However, the viewership has declined since the newest season debuted. On January 30, Vpr Season 11 brought in over 1.3 million viewers but is now seeing a huge drop. According to TV ratings, the current viewership is between 930k to 988k viewers for each new episode. However, the new kid on the block, Vanderpump Villa is the fresh new face of the Vanderpump family. On April 1 Hulu introduced the shiny new series, Vanderpump Villa, the spinoff to Vpr. Furthermore, it gave fans the first three episodes of the show to get a taste.

Vanderpump Villa‘s Chateau Manager, Eric Funderwhite was accused of allegedly being violently abusive by an ex. Considering that Lisa Vanderpump said the cast nearly gave her a “cardiac arrest,” she might need to take a chill pill when she sees the new article about Eric.

When “Vanderpump Rules” first premiered on Bravo in 2013, the premise was simple: a selected cast of chaos-makers from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant staff at Sur navigated Los Angeles in their twenties. While the base of the series pulled from past reality television renegades like “The Hills,” it proved to be an entirely different ballgame due to the unabashed narcissism and web of relationships present in the cast.
The majority were aspiring actors, living and partying in an era before social media as we know it today had taken off. They spent their days calling out sick to take trips to Vegas, only to have to sit down in a staff meeting the next morning. However, around Season 9 of “Vanderpump Rules,” popularity dwindled. It raised questions about how long the current crew could continue with the same storylines, give or take a Scandoval.

Women’s History Month may be over, but that doesn’t mean that women aren’t leading many of Hulu’s top picks for April. The month begins with the premiere of Vanderpump Villa, a Hulu Original reality series that follows Lisa Vanderpump and the hand-selected staff members employed at her lavish French estate, Chateau Rosabelle. This next chapter in the Vanderpump saga is sure to be full of drama, decadence, and debauchery as the staff caters to Vanderpump, her wealthy guests, and their own desires.
Hulu Original Under the Bridge, based on the 1997 true-crime novel of the same name, also premieres this month. This limited series follows the investigation of Reena Virk’s disappearance –the fourteen-year-old left to meet some friends and never returned home. Starring Riley Keough and Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone, Under the Bridge has all the makings of a true-crime hit. Rounding out this month,...

Marciano Brunette is teasing the upcoming new reality series Vanderpump Villa!
The hospitality professional from Las Vegas will be a lead server at Chateau Rosabelle on the upcoming Hulu reality series from Lisa Vanderpump.
While promoting the show, Marciano reacted to comparisons to Jax Taylor, who was quite the drama stirrer on Lisa‘s first reality show Vanderpump Rules.
Find out what he said inside…
“Honestly, I take it as a compliment,” he told E! News about the comparisons. “I’m not going to say anything poorly about Jax, but I would like to think I’m a better version of Jax. I’m Jax 2.0. I think if there was a comparison to be made, that that would be the closest comparison, that’s for sure. I’m Ok with it. I think it’s fairly fitting.”
As for the comparisons, Lisa, who has known Jax for many years, doesn’t quite see the similarities.

Lisa Vanderpump is taking a break from the Vanderpump Rules drama and headed to the French countryside in Vanderpump Villa, premiering April 1 on Hulu. In the new reality series, Lisa has hand-selected a staff to work, live, and play at Chateau Rosabelle in France. The reality icon continues to have a hit with her Vanderpump Rules crew, but Vanderpump Villa isn’t a carbon copy whatsoever. Lisa reveals to TV Insider that her new series is “so totally different because they’re all living together. They don’t have a history. A couple of them do. There was the existing couple of relationships. But also, to add the guests and to add that layer and then to add the aesthetics, it just made it a very different experience.” Lisa’s Vanderpump Villa staff includes mixologist Andre Mitchell, who is “pouring all the charm.” There’s also Hannah Fouch, a server...

If you haven’t taken the leap to bundle Disney+ and Hulu, it might be time. Streaming is only getting more expensive and competitive, and the enticing bundle (which also includes ESPN) might be a version of cable TV, but it’s also just cost efficient. Disney+ and Hulu are so intertwined that their monthly listing updates come in the same email — and as such, we decided to compile them here for you in the same list.
Whether you have Disney+ or Hulu, or both (and the IndieWire staff has weighed on our favorites), each has its benefits. Disney has the family-friendly titles, the Star Wars and Marvel (new episodes of “The Bad Batch” and “X-Men: 97” continue through April), while Hulu is the place to catch FX originals and network episodes. Both streamers have the rights to distribute National Geographic titles, which are well worth exploring along with the rest of the library.

When Vanderpump Rules launched in 2013, it charted the highs and lows of a group of twentysomethings working for Lisa Vanderpump at Sur, one of her many establishments in West Hollywood.
At the time, there was initial drama surrounding Scheana Shay getting a job at the restaurant and locking horns with Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney.
Scheana faced an uphill battle to find an in with her three co-workers as they couldn’t move on from the fact that she had an affair with Eddie Cibrian behind Brandi Glanville’s back.
Even though the situations felt heavily edited, there was an element of authenticity on the show back then that hasn’t been present for years.
The beauty of the show back then was that the cast had nothing to lose. They were working constantly, partying all night, and getting embroiled in messy feuds.

Hulu has ordered a new social experiment competition series “Got to Get Out” from Wheelhouse.
The format will showcase participants living in a mansion for 10 days as they vie for a cash prize that increases by $1 each second they’re in the game. As contestants compete in physical and mental challenges, more money will be added to “the pot,” with up to $1 million at stake.
Upon completing the series, participants will be given the choice to take an equal share of prize money, or they can attempt to steal it all for themselves. To steal the pot, they’ll have to escape the mansion via its front gate — but in this game, getting out is easier said than done.
At random intervals, the gate will open and a getaway car will appear for contestants to attempt to leave with “the pot” while contestants will have opportunities to block others’ attempted exits.

Exclusive: It’s a tough time to be a mid-sized unscripted production company right now.
A slow-down of greenlights amid cost cutting within all of the major media conglomerates, and seemingly no bump from the writers and actors strike despite what many were expecting, has led to doom and gloom across the non-scripted sector.
This has led to many companies having to undergo layoffs. Deadline understands that companies including Bunim/Murray, Half-Yard Productions and Propagate Content have all cut staff recently and more are expected to follow suit. It’s time for the big deal of the day — Hulu has announced a new eight-episode series order for an unscripted series currently about Wayne Brady and his family.
The untitled series is set to pull the curtain back on the life of actor, comedian, host and singer. When he’s not busy hosting “Let’s Make a Deal,” Brady finds himself co-parenting his 20-year-old daughter, Maile Brady, alongside his “ex-wife, soulmate and business partner,” Mandie Taketa.
Together, Brady and Taketa run their production company, A Wayne & Mandie Creative. Taketa’s life partner of 12 years, Jason Fordham, is also involved in their business, handling the family’s cinematography and post-production efforts. Their extended family recently became even bigger with the birth of Taketa and Fordham’s son, Sundance-Isamu.
The show is said to give viewers a raw, unfiltered look into the personal lives of Brady’s blended family. While their family dynamic is unconventional,...
