Fun for kids and adults alike

This story is obviously designed for children, but the meta humour taking the mick out of Star Wars and it's lore, makes this gun for adults too. I genuinely found this entertaining and am intrigued by where this story will go, as it was pretty entertaining. A fun ride for fans of all ages. 7.5/10.

Follow the Story

The secret with Lego Star Wars involve ones ability to see the story through the humor; though I would suggest laughing all you can ( it is proven, scientifically, to be good for you). The two reviews that pre-dated mine were so...un-Jedi like I decided to post my own. For those hard core enthusiasts, I'm assuming you'll be intrigued to follow this series after watching this episode. A Sith Clone? Can it be? I guess there's only one way to find out and it involves watching Lego Star Wars, The Yoda Chronicles. Allegedly, if you're watching chronologically, this series falls right after Episode II: Attack of the Clones and before more Lego Star Wars, the Padawan Menace (2011). Just join the Dark Side you haters of the Lego Star wars idea, your negativity belongs there anyway. As for the rest, enjoy this wonderful and, potentially important, episode of the Star Wars saga.

Enough of garbage like this.

Warning: Spoilers
Yes we get it already, many people and even the creators and cast can make fun of Star wars. But how about making a show with the target audience being teenager or OLDER. How about making a show where the characters don't look like parody's of there self, and as hard it may be, how about they don't even act like parody's of them self. How about a show where the plot is mature, true to the title Star Wars, and dose not do things which conflicts with the movies? Is that freaking too much to ask?

Not like there's not enough money... star wars titles in the last decade did pretty much nothing else but ripping of kids money by launching garbage shows which from they could sell garbage toys. Or is there no creative person in Lucasfilms and Disney how can come up with mature entertainment?

If your around six, chances are you might enjoy this, and probably will want to buy hole arsenal of Lego star wars stuff. If your older it probably will just annoy you. And may raise the question in you, like it did in me "why they put the standards so low"

Only if you really love Star Wars and Lego

Warning: Spoilers
And I am not a big fan of either. Science fiction has never been my genre and the Lego animation style which has become really popular in recent years was never among my preferred styles either. I will say that I think the screen-shot of Yoda used here on the film's title page is pretty nice, but these 21 minutes are not even close to that in terms of how good they are. There are actually quite a few Lego Stars Wars film and the director is as usual Michael Hegner. The writer is Michael Price a 2-time Emmy Award winner for "The Simpsons". All in all, I must say this was not a particularly exciting watch and, like I wrote in the title, you need to be a great fan of Star Wars and also of Lego in order to appreciate this. Then you will probably like it. Otherwise you can just skip. Not recommended.
