A former Dairy Queen manager in Missouri accused of driving a teenage employee to suicide with her bullying now faces additional charges in the boy’s death, People confirms.
Harley Branham, 22, of Fayette, Missouri, was arrested on Jan. 31 after a jury in a coroner’s inquest found her to be “the principal” cause of 17-year-old Kenneth “Kenny” Suttner’s suicide.
The jurors concluded Suttner had faced bullying and harassment both at the Fayette Dairy Queen, while Branham was a manager there, and at his school.

No longer out of reach, Marcel Pagnol’s stunning 3-feature saga of love and honor in a French seaport is one of the great movie experiences — and the most emotional workout this viewer has seen in years. The tradition of greatness in the French sound cinema began with gems like these, starring legendary actors that were sometimes billed only with their last names: Raimu, Charpin. Those two, Pierre Fresnay and Orane Demazis are simply unforgettable — it’s 6.5 hours of dramatic wonderment.

Mid-season Finale Review: ‘Hearts Still Beating’ Promises Excitement In 2017
Whose Episode Is It?
It’s a Ricketeer road trip! Rick’s inner circle (plus Jesus) head from community to community, trying to get everyone on board with their war against the Saviors, with mixed results. The good news is that “Rock In The Road” moves pretty briskly by “Walking Dead” standards (mercifully, the runtime is less than 90 minutes), there’s some fresh zombie action, and no Negan to be found (save for a brief radio message). It’s a welcome respite from the repetitive misery of the first half of the season. Plus, King Ezekiel is back! And the tiger!
Viva La Revolución
We open with Gregory roundly refusing to join Rick’s rebellion, and also refusing to honor the terms of Hilltop’s initial agreement with Alexandria, since Alexandria didn’t manage to wipe out the Saviors as promised.

Wondering how all the DC universe TV spin-offs, crossovers and webseries fit together? We have the answer...
In October 2012, Us network The CW launched the first season of Arrow, after wrapping up no fewer than ten seasons of Superman origin show Smallville a year before. Arrow was a completely new take on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, in a new universe that had nothing to do with Smallville or its version of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. The series proved quite the hit for The CW, and a second season renewal inevitably followed. In season two, we were introduced to forensic scientist Barry Allen, better known to DC Comics readers as The Flash. Arrow got a third season, The Flash got his own TV show with great success, and the live action shared DC Comics universe on TV was born. And with it the question: how does it all fit together?...

Move in the Midst? Oh, why not?!
Let me count the ways, shall I? First, to set the scene.
We’d lived in the same spot for a staggering (for us) 24 years. Time to go, we decided. Late spring, 2015, we put our house on the market for a month—a trial run, so to speak—then took it off again. No takers and, after all, I’d a book to finish.

Bring on Beyoncé and Bruno Mars singing "The Rains of Castamere": This year's run of Game of Thrones is halfway over, and it's time to sit back and take stock of Season Six's stats. As of last night's blistering climax, over a dozen major players have died; some of the biggest bastards in the Seven Kingdoms have seized power; and the White Walkers are advancing ever closer on the Wall and all that lies beyond. But it's not all bad news for the home team: Jon Snow lives, Daenerys Targaryen rides,...

Warning: May contain minor spoilers on class stories and on Shadow of Revan and Fallen Empire stories.
I’ve been playing Swtor for several years now and I’ve always had backstories for my characters in the world of role-play. I’ve never actually sat down to write them down however, so I’m glad to have a good opportunity to do so now.
Rosiet is the first character I ever created. I actually played through all the classes as female characters before creating any male characters, so Alagos and Brenum came later. There was no backstory at first. I was not as much into Rp and don’t often role-play with other players. However, as a writer, and one who enjoys writing fan-fiction, I enjoy creating a story for my characters. So today I shall present you three who form a family and also reveal a bit more behind the creation of these characters.

Tired Moonlight, Dp: Adam GinsbergOne of the few shocks of the otherwise steadfastly low-key Tired Moonlight, a recent inclusion in New York’s New Directors/New Films program, is discovering in the credit roll that Sean Price Williams didn’t shoot it. The film arrives at a point where seemingly every new low-budget indie shot on 16mm and featuring a hitherto unsung directorial newcomer—in this case Montana-born Britni West—is graced by the eye of this particular cinematographer: see The Vanquishing of the Witch Baba Yaga, Kuichisan, Young Bodies Heal Quickly, Christmas, Again, and several others, not to mention all the work in this vein he’s done for Alex Ross Perry. Williams is certainly skilled (it’s hard to find a review of a film boasting his work that doesn’t mention his name—a rare feat for a Dp), but as of now only demonstrably proficient in...

For the Horde!! Finally, after years and years of waiting and buzz and details, we have an official first look at one of the Orcs from the upcoming Warcraft movie based on the popular video game. Moon/SourceCode director Duncan Jones is directing the Warcraft movie, about the Orcs vs the Humans, following various Orc and Human characters. This time we get to meet Orgrim the Orc, played by actor Robert Kazinsky, who we just saw as Chuck Hansen in Pacific Rim. Over at Wired, where the image is from, they explain: "Orgrim's likeness comes from the masterminds at Industrial Light and Magic, who took concept art from Blizzard Entertainment... and merged it with photographs and scans of Kazinsky to create the orc." Sweet. Here's the first two Warcraft shots, showing Orgrim the Orc as a character and from a scene in the movie: "We’ve gone beyond the point...

Aphex Twin: Syro (Warp)
Though the length of Richard D. James's absence from the electronic scene has been overstated by people who neglect his less famous aliases, it Has been almost a decade since we got new music from him, and yes, the release of Syro is a welcome surprise. It is less abrasive (by my tastes, at least) than the aggressive beats found on his previous Aphex Twin album, Drukqs (I'm thinking of the blast-beat assault of 'drill-n-bass' tracks such as "Omgyiya Switch 7"); like Drukqs, Syro offers a wide variety of styles, but the whiplash factor is absent; there are no juxtapositions of frenetic computerized beats and beatless ambient piano pieces here.
Instead, the album flows. Drukqs was hard to listen to; Syro is downright ingratiating -- funky at times, occasionally even sexy or at least sensual. Even though the fastest track comes right before the closing ambient track,...

Each week HeyUGuys will take a primary focus on the site. This could be a genre of movie, an aspect of the industry, a specific person or part of the movie making process we want to explore further. This week our focus is the divisive issue of film censorship. We began yesterday with a debate of the necessity of the BBFC, and today Beth Webb explains the censorial milestones we have passed. Tomorrow Cai Ross lists the scenes which caused the censors a headache and on Friday we’ll be looking forward to the future of film censorship.

The 2nd annual Haverhill Experimental Film Festival — which was just held in Haverhill, Massachusetts on May 29-June 1 — has announced their list of 9 award winners. Most impressively for a small festival in just its second year is that each winner, including the Honorable Mentions, was awarded a cash prize.
The big winner of the fest was filmmaker Metrah Pashaee, whose Human Body Battleground Organ Organism took home the First Prize award of $300. The Second Prize winner of $200 was Mike Olenick for his Red Luck. This is the second big award for Red Luck this year, which previously took home the Best Looking Award at the 2014 Chicago Underground Film Festival. The Third Prize winner of $100 was Josh Lewis for his Pillager.

Ready for a bigger and better “Transformers” movie?
Mark Wahlberg thinks so.
Wahlberg, along with actors Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, were on stage at the Paramount Pictures’ opening night presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Latino-Review was in attendance.
“I was lucky for Michael Bay to ask me to be involved with ‘Transformers,’” he remarked to the CinemaCon audience. “In which, I had to jump on the opportunity, because it had to feel like it’s the most iconic franchise in movie history.”
He continued, “Michael promised me that we get to do our own thing and to be very different and a standalone movie. And it’s absolutely is. Not because I’m in it, but it’s bigger and better than the other three—combined. I can promise you that.”
Reynor, Peltz and Walhberg’s ten-year-old daughter Ella Rae Wahlberg, joined him on stage for plenty of extended footages.

Sneak Peek new cast images from the Showcase series "Lost Girl", the Toronto-lensed supernatural crime drama, created by Michelle Lovretta and produced by Jay Firestone's Prodigy Pictures Inc. now entering its fourth season:
The TV series follows the life of an alluring, sexually deviant, demonic 'Succubus' named 'Bo', played by Anna Silk:
"...'Bo' is a 'Succubus' who grew up in an adopted human family unaware of her non-human nature and of the 'Fae' world she descended from. She began to feel different when she entered puberty and didn't know she was not normal until she accidentally killed her high school boyfriend by draining his life energy during her first sexual activity.
"When she told her parents what had happened, they broke the news to Bo that she had been adopted. Not knowing what she was and what she had done, Bo hated herself and ran away from home,...

I went into Valhalla Knights 3 with no prior exposure to the series, but got a vibe from pre-release trailers and screenshots akin to a fantasy Mmorpg. Unfortunately, that’s not quite what the final product turned out to be. While definitely a fantasy role-playing game, with stats, swords, and sorcery, when it comes to the main component, it’s strictly a single-player affair.
And yet, structurally, it feels like a game that could have taken better advantage of the wide online player base that exists today. While there is a sparse online versus mode available early on, the fact that you guide parties of multiple characters into battle, and can even switch between each fully playable one, each with their own unique items, stats, and abilities, is begging for multiplayer.
Unfortunately, even if you ignore this setback, the actual game is pretty dull, routine, and standard to a fault. Both...
