Wanted to love this. The video edit is so BAD!

This could&should be good like the rest of all AGT editions.

A few of the greatest acts ever are back, but instead of presenting them, we've been presented with a "on steroids" edition, that delivers a fast forward presentation at x4... Every act is almost presented at x4 speed, the camera changes are really weird, really bad at timing, utter nonsense!.

You mostly see the judges reactions and not the act itself.

Without adds, this is like 1h20m episodes. With adds like 2h.

Some of the acts are just bad and shouldn't even got invited to this kind of eliminations within short time.

Happy that Mel B is back, sad for Sofia tho.

Really hope they get a way better editor for the final video cut.

*Edit 1: EP 2 is way better in everything I disliked.

No surprises- Horrible editing

I guess because these are already seen acts, it seems to have lost a bit of the wow factor for me. The acts are ok at best for me so far. Now... the editing is ridiculous! I feel like it is a result of our instant gratification need now but the amount of cuts from one view to the next is nauseating. It is actually making me angry. As one person already commented, they like showing the judge's reactions more than the act. If they could keep one camera angle for remote than 2 seconds it would have so much better. It is likely because it is not a live show... Hope it gets better but not holding my breath.

It's "okay".

Very 'got talent' meets 'the voice' since there are teams in this edition. Nothing new or original just everything you've seen in youtube compilations over the years from the different got talent versions around the globe.

Guess the ratings were down and they needed something to spice up the formula however considering how nearly every act is so over produced from auto-tune on children to intentionally editing certain people up to look worse than they are... There is also the overly fake audience "reactions" spliced in everywhere as per usual.

The 'voting' of who gets in or doesn't seems so arbitrary because there is no public vote and we're told that the "superfans" in attendance are the ones picking who goes through yet it's never shown actually happening. Feels like it's just whoever the producers want because the reactions do not line up with some of them that are through to the semi-finals.

Sure it's an entertainment show however now it's just who can play nice enough with the judges/editors and who the producers want to be given a "fair shot" and/or who will make them the most money.

As is stands now the show just seems to come across very inauthentic. Still watchable just not as good as it used to be.

Rooting for Loren Allred because she so deserves it.

The Original Version is Better

AGT Fantasy League is a spin-off of the popular talent show America's Got Talent, where four judges compete against each other with their own teams of 10 acts from previous seasons. The acts perform each week and the studio audience votes for their favorites, until one act is crowned the champion and wins $250,000.

The show has some pros and cons. On the positive side, it is fun to see some familiar faces and talents from the AGT universe, and to witness the judges' rivalry and banter. Some of the acts are truly amazing and deserve a second chance to shine. The show also offers a variety of genres and styles, from singers and magicians to acrobats and comedians.

On the negative side, the show feels a bit repetitive and predictable, as most of the acts have already been seen before and do not bring much novelty or surprise. The show also lacks the excitement and suspense of the original AGT, where anyone can audition and the judges have the power to buzz, comment, and vote. The format of Fantasy League is more like a friendly game than a serious competition, and the stakes do not seem very high.

Overall, AGT Fantasy League is an entertaining and enjoyable show, but not as captivating and thrilling as the main show. It is a good way to pass the time and revisit some of the best acts from AGT, but it does not offer the same level of quality and diversity as the original.
