A very interesting and nice journey.

I enjoyed very much this journey through Brittany: beautiful landscape and nice encounters.

There are some interestings aspects of the region: the island of Hoat (about 200 inhabitants but 3.000 visitors in the summer,a car free space, Fred Le Roux-the fisherman-, before 40 fishing boats, now only 5 fishing boats), the island of Hoëdic (now a touristic place-the camping site and the singing vacationers-Les Nomades e la Lande"), the low tech in Concarneau (the "Konk Ar Lab"-laboratory for technology designers like Nicolas Voisard-, the plastic recycling or the submarine camera for the monitoring of the fishes, the Low Tech festival), the marine boyscouts of Vannes (the sailboats, the camps in the islands), the summer cam of the little trappers (the life in the nature, the use of the Breton language), the buckwheat in Brittany (the revival of the crop, Séréna Fortin-the buckwheat producer-, Damien Robert-the miller- and Michel Bray the cook of the Breton crepes, the crepes festival of Gourin), the navigation on the water canals, the Nantes to Brest canal opened in 1842, 364 kilometers long witjh 238 locks, the new Route de l'Ardoise, the team rowing in a yawl) and the Low Tech festival of Concarneau (the tiny houses-independent housing-, Jean-Daniel Blanchet and the building of 60 tiny houses, Jehanne and Eliott-the renters of a tiny house for the holidays, the Anthénéa project with the floating suite).

I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with Etienne Menguy (the lighthouse of the Conquet, the organic farm and the guesthouse on the island of "Quéménès", with Amélie Goossens, the companion of Etienne,), with Corentin de Chatelperron (the harvest of limpets, the visit of Concarneau, the eating of kouign Amann-the laboratory boat-, the meeting with Caroline Pultz, a technology designer-,the boat tour to the Penfret Island-Glénan archipelago-,the solar powered oven for the cooking the limpets), with Patricia Glon (the mountain bike champion, the bike tour along the rivers and water canals and the traditional Breton games with the two sisters of Patricia), with Evelyne Adam in Plomeur (the earth houses) and with Marie Gabrielle Capodano (the spirulina production, the visit of Vannes and the eating of vanilla ice cream with spirulina and oysters), nice encounters with very king French men and women.
