Amusing idea with good delivery in the music and animation
Ever got a song stuck in your head? Well essentially that is the concept here as a man opens a box which is labeled as being dangorous (sic) but containing great power. He of course opens it and finds a jazz trio inside but he has no time to worry about that now as he has an emergency to go to – although so does the jazz trio.
The short film really only has one joke but it plays it bigger as it goes and it delivers it in a cool and stylish way. The animation is slick and stylish (albeit perhaps an overly familiar style) and the music is catchy from the trio; these two areas of delivery work well together and carry the one joke along to the conclusion. It is not hilarious but it is amusing and it is well delivered and can be enjoyed as a cheerful little throwaway with a catchy soundtrack and cool animation.
