To die with your dog may be the best of ends

Warning: Spoilers
The only fault with this tribute to the meaning of a human dog relationship is that the dog lacks a space helmet. Since this a story of feeling and the worth of something I can allow for that. A young boy and his best friend find themselves minutes away from running out of oxygen in deep space. The boy is heartbroken but becomes happy to spend his last moments whizzing though space atop pieces of debris with his pal doing the same. The animal is unaware of what is to come but is perky and active following his friend's enthusiasm. The boy is happy to be able to spend his last moments with his dog and to prevent his friend from knowing what is coming. The two spend their last moments sitting together watching what seems to be a sun rise of almost blinding light that leaves the sense that they are about to become part of what lies after death.. The film is but three minutes long but very well conveys the love that the two have for each other. The animation and music are bright and happy which serves as a counterpoint to what is really happening. The result is to cause the ending to remind what is being lost and makes the conclusion all the more heartbreaking. The boy does his all to be one with his dog at life's end . They will die together in place and in spirit. Great and horribly sad movie making
