In the year of our Lord 2017, The War of the Chrises ended. A long-gestating and confounding battle between movie stars with similar names, similar roles, and similar skin tones, came to a close. Chris Evans (the Captain in “Captain America”), Chris Hemsworth (the Thor in “Thor”), Chris Pratt (a guardian in “Guardians of the Galaxy”), and Chris Pine (the dude in “Wonder Woman”) laid down their super weapons and bowed down to the king.
You need not ask who won. You already know.

Campers, it’s all happening: the crew of “Wet Hot American Summer” will reunite on August 4 in Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later.” Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Marguerite Moreau, Christopher Meloni — all will be back to reprise their roles at Camp Firewood, this time all grown up. Wet Hot American Summer was a 2001 comedy from David Wain (Role Models, The State, Stella) set in 1981 and starring Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Paul Rudd, Zack Orth, Christoper Meloni, A.D. Miles, Molly Shannon, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Jon H. Benjamin and Amy Poehler. If that sounds like an A-List cast, that's because many of the current stars in the group were not so famous or in demand at the time. The film focused on these counselors on the last day of camp at Camp Firewood, one of the jokes being that all the actors were playing well under their age range.
Then, fourteen years later in 2015, Netflix released a prequel in the form of a TV series, making the ages of the cast even more ridiculous, in typical Wain fashion. Joining the original, now star-studded cast in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp...

There are a lot of strategic moves happening on The Young and the Restless.
Characters are being moved around like pieces on a chessboard. Will new couples be formed or old flames re-ignited?
Time will tell. Let's take a look at what went down this week on our favorite sudser.

By way of response, Billy walks up as closely as possible to say, "Perfectly," while his breath blows a breeze into her hair. Suddenly they are face to face. Cut scene. That's all we get.

Liverpool fans are urging new boss Jurgen Klopp to make a January transfer window swoop for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
According to the Independent, fans on Merseyside have taken to social media to voice their concerns over the performances of current Liverpool stopper Simon Mignolet and have pushed the Reds boss to make a move for ter Stegen as his replacement.
With only 4 league appearances to his name in the 18 months since the young German international ‘keeper made the switch to the Nou Camp, ter Stegen is said to be considering his future in Spain in order to secure a place in his country’s Euro 2016 squad.
Barca boss Luis Enrique seemingly doesn’t have the stopper in his plans with Claudio Bravo firmly placed as the La Liga champions number one, with ter Stegen noticeably absent from the recent Club World Cup tournament.

Occasionally older, strong-willed women creep into the sex-saturated narrative of horror that traditionally wallows in the terrorizing and disposing of young ladies. There is something to the fact that whether their presence maintains, twists or rebukes the genre’s stereotypically repressive lessons about female sexuality that so often end in the punishment of women acting out of bounds, aging females are just not surveilled, possessed or subjugated in the same ways as their less mature counterparts. This leaves space for some nuance of character to seep in, injecting a much-needed alternative depiction of gender that is based on agency instead of being acted upon. While the roles are few and far between, the following actresses have contributed iconic or under the radar performances in horror. (This post contains spoilers.)

Summer camp takes a sinister turn in David Yarovesky's The Hive, playing in theaters for one evening only tonight courtesy of Fathom Events and Nerdist Industries. Ahead of The Hive's special theatrical release, Daily Dead caught up with co-writer/director David Yarovesky.
On The Hive's long journey to the big screen:
David Yarovesky: It’s been two years. People talk about it like it’s a marathon, but for me it’s been a two-year sprint. We started in July or August of 2013. I cranked out eleven drafts before we actually shot anything. Eleven drafts in three or four months. I’m really anal about it being as good as it possibly can be. I’d just be cranking them out and working through the kinks and making it better every time.
So then we went straight into shooting and after that it was like 20 weeks of editing.

In the first trailer for Bradley Cooper comedy “Burnt,” the actor’s character, Adam, details why he loves being one of the best chefs in the world. “The kitchen’s the only place I’ve ever felt like I really belong. I love every minute of it: the heat, the pressure, the violence,” Adam says. The film follows the hotshot chef as he attempts to rebuild his career after being sidelined by drugs and diva behavior. He decides to reinvent himself in London and to open the best restaurant in the world. See video: 'Wet Hot American Summer'...

There will still be plenty of movie-related events and activities at this years hoedown of heroes! Below, up will find a list of things to get jazzed about at this years festivities!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
This is a big one, but let’s not get our hopes up too high. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that there will be no new trailer or clips shown during the panel on Friday, where Lucasfilm president and producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and other special guests will discuss the film.

Embargos and NDAs aside, in four or five months, I'll be able to let readers know why it was so amusing to me that "The Amazing Race" spent a second consecutive Leg traveling through Morocco on Friday (October 31) night. That amusement held sway even though Friday's Leg was, as we've almost come to expect from "The Amazing Race" this season, a mixed bag of really good tasks, confusingly confusing tasks and gratuitously complicated tasks. It was a Leg that made me build more appreciation for the teams I already liked, gave a couple unexpected stars the chance to shine, but also failed to generate even an iota of tension or excitement surrounding its result. But I liked the scenery, I liked the Greeter with the chicken on his head and I'm sure that this "Amazing Race" episode set a record for most goat teat close-ups. And, staring down an impressive wall of exhaustion,...

Tonight's show, kicked off with the teams, learning they had start things off with a challenge where they had to locate a bunch of hay bags and deliver them to a stable to feed some horses to get their first clue for this leg of the race. After completing it, they had to drive to a local pottery stand to search for their next clue. Once they hit up the pottery stand, they ran into their detours: "Camp" or "Cream." In the "Camp" detour, they had to set up some sort of camp site to the exact specifications to get their next clue. In the "Cream" detour, they had to correctly make a 3 ounce bowl of goat butter from scratch to get their next clue. After successfully completing their detours, the hit a Road Block in which they had to walk a very unstable bridge and zipline to some puzzle pieces.

Chicago – “Game of Thrones” is over and you’ve already binged “Orange is the New Black,” what are you supposed to do now? There are five TV-to-Blu-ray releases this month that might warrant a look.

The Jackson Hale murder is still at the core of the episode, but this time, instead of a jealous production assistant, the murderer is a morning show anchor who thinks gigolo Jackson is sleeping with his wife -- and wannabe-weatherman Ruben Leonard gets caught in the crossfire.
There was a lot to spy for the eagle-eyed fan and we've compiled a list for you (which may not even be complete), but if you'd prefer to figure it all out for yourself without help, skip the "Eye Spy" section at the bottom.

Let's say Adam Driver is in need of some eggs. He goes to a store. He selects the eggs. He approaches the checkout line to purchase said eggs. The cashier looks up and—
"You're an asshole!" she proclaims with a wide grin.
Driver does not even blink. "Thank you," he says, placing his eggs on the counter.
"I like you, but you're an asshole!"
"Uh, fuck you?" Driver responds in that funny, goofy, asshole-y way he's perfected on TV. "Are these eggs at a discount?"
Check Out The Most 'Wtf'...

Not since the days of Jedward, Olly Murs and Rikki Loney (?!) has X Factor treated us to a Big Band Week. It's a chance for the acts to show off their most powerful vocal performances and knock out some good old fashioned Rat Pack classics. Or at least that's the plan anyway.
Can Sam Callahan finally win over Gary Barlow? How old is Nicholas McDonald? (16!!) And will Nicole Scherzinger be as 'excited' as she was on last week's Live Show? These are all questions we hope will be answered this evening.
Join us from 8pm when it all kicks off again on ITV.
21:32See you tomorrow at 8pm. Celine Dion and Robbie Williams are the special guests. Thanks for all the comments, as always. We love them all. Good and bad.
21:30That's all for tonight folks. There's no Flash Vote tonight. You'll have to wait 24 hours to find...
