  Assistant Chief Taylor : Good point, Captain. Does the FBI have anything on Goss they could afford to give up?

  Scott Shaw : Okay, look... that scumbag she thought was her boyfriend...

  Captain Sharon Raydor : Excuse me, uh, I have a call.

  Lt. Louie Provenza : [phone rings]  Joe's Pizza.

  Captain Sharon Raydor : Lieutenant, I've got it. We've got information from the FBI that gives us probable cause and a straight and narrow path to the Mercedes outside Goss's Statement of Facts.

  Lt. Louie Provenza : So we can arrest Cory Stark and apply for a search warrant based on FBI information?

  Captain Sharon Raydor : Yes, but in order to use him against Mr. Goss, I need Cory Stark alive and talking.

• Scott Shaw : I guess you're right. I guess I forgot she was a witness and not a professional and that...

  Captain Sharon Raydor : She wasn't on your side.

  Scott Shaw : No. Briana was on her own side. She was fighting for what she wanted. Guess I was so focused on guarding her from the bad guys that it just never even occurred to me she would need protection from herself.

  Captain Sharon Raydor : And remember, Briana didn't become an informant by hanging out with all the right people. Her judgement, it was off from the beginning.

  Scott Shaw : Oh, well, we live and learn, right?
