- Annie Walker: I asked him for a piece of Intel to prove himself. Why is it still so hard for you to trust him?
- Auggie Anderson: Until last week, he was still presenting as a guerrilla terrorist.
- Annie Walker: He's Arthur's son. And he saved my life.
- Auggie Anderson: And you saved his. Now you're even.
- Auggie Anderson: Being together can't change how we work.
- Annie Walker: I just don't want our jobs to change us. That's what matters to me.
- Auggie Anderson: I am so glad you said that, because I was gonna have to quit.
- Annie Walker: [smiling] I don't want you to quit.
- Auggie Anderson: [smiling] Good, because I just got a promotion.
- Annie Walker: [on phone] Not exactly a welcome wagon. She said I was annoying in Chinese.
- [giggles]
- Auggie Anderson: Well, not everyone falls for your charm as easily as I did.
- Annie Walker: And she threw the calendar away.
- Auggie Anderson: So much for getting that bug inside their apartment.
- Annie Walker: [still on phone] They're on their way to a meet. I'm right behind them.
- Auggie Anderson: Okay, good luck.
- Annie Walker: I thought you said I was the type that didn't need luck.
- Auggie Anderson: You remember that?
- Annie Walker: The first day we met. How could I forget?
- [smiles]
- Joan Campbell: It's your call, Auggie.
- Auggie Anderson: All right. We use our assets to watch them at work in case Henry approaches them there.
- [to Annie:]
- Auggie Anderson: You continue your surveillance at the apartment, but nothing more.
- [this throws Annie, and she looks at Joan for support, but no]
- Annie Walker: Henry is gonna have them, and whatever proof they have against him, if we don't act now!
- Auggie Anderson: [insistent] Keep following them. Just don't approach. If we move too soon, we'll scare them off.
- Annie Walker: [clearly not satisfied] Okay.
- [leaves]
- Joan Campbell: [as door closes] Auggie, you can't change the rules for her now, just because of the way you feel.
- Auggie Anderson: My feelings haven't changed. Just my job.
- Annie Walker: Henry is not the one lying to me right now. We might keep secrets for a living, but we can't keep them from each other.
- Auggie Anderson: I was just made head of one of the most secretive departments in the world.
- Annie Walker: And you didn't even tell me about it. I don't want to do this if we are gonna turn out like Joan and Arthur. I want our lives outside the building to be more important than our lives inside it. You gotta make a choice, Auggie. I am willing to go there. Are you?
