There's something quite sexy about being trapped in a dead-end life. A neo-noir melodrama, in a café, after-hours. An emotionally-dishevelled couple. Entangled in their routine affair; a catty, heated game of sordid lust and lucid misery, not wanting to return to the pressures of the outside world, a world they desperately want to escape from, with their only solace in each other. This is Stanton and De Marco's debut film.
