Very awesome

Warning: Spoilers
Continuing my Disney+ documentary film marathon this is my eleventh. As I watch, I comment too. I already found it super interesting for having staging. Somber this mysterious guy who stood next to the woman who saw the black smoke as the plane took off. Wow, it was a dream. It reminded me of the movie "Final Destination" (Premonition in PTBR). Several were even delayed and almost missed their flight. Several had premonitions as well. Too tense. For those who were on the plane, it must have been tense, but imagine for the husband who was in the car wash and receives a "goodbye" call from his wife. Glad not everyone was selfish. Wow, they saved everyone, how wonderful. These evasive journalists are horrible. Conclusion: without a doubt, out of the 11 documentaries I've watched in this marathon, this was my favorite, I loved the way it was told.

How much of this is true?

I couldn't give a good review for this documentary, as I couldn't tell who was being honest. I don't think it's a very good documentary for historical preservation of this event.

That may sound harsh, but it feels like everyone interviewed is trying to add a hero narrative to their own story. They try and make their personal involvement the most important aspect.

Very little is discussed about the pilot. It's mostly a small cross-section of passengers.

Watch the film 'Sully' instead.

"That moment when you realize you've experienced a miracle" all 155 crew members survived...

In 2009, just two minutes after US Airways Flight 1549, a flock of birds hit the plane, destroying both engines. The captain then decided to try the almost impossible - to land on the Hudson River in New York.

Despite already knowing the story and all its details and developments from watching the wonderful film with Tom Hanks, the documentary excites, moves us, especially when we have a crush (forgive me the unfortunate pun) for movies of airplanes and the paradox of fear and fascination flying in them... It's emotional, I cry just reading and remembering the heroic act and everyone who can retell this story today... "That moment when you realize you've experienced a miracle" all 155 crew members survived...

Having seen the real "Miracle On The Hudson"...

Warning: Spoilers
To be fair they focused on only the passenger's memories in this telling, so what we got is more of a jumbled mess than a chronological account...and many of the memories are frankly misleading and almost accusatorial in some parts...

In point of fact the flight attendeants jumped into action as soon as the plane stopped, opening all forward escape routes. But the narratives try to suggest the doors opened by themselves. In fact the entire plane was evacuated in less than three minutes. The rescue craft and helicopters arrived much faster than was portrayed too, so I'm not sure what the goal of this movie was...
