Good episode

Tim Daly did a great job as a Texas Ranger. As a Texas girl myself I think he got the accent perfectly.

Entertaining show

A Texas Ranger arrives in Hawaii to find his daughter (played well by Tim Daly) This new version of Five 0 IS usually very good in it's technology and firearms. The only disappointment is showing a Texas Ranger in a non modern way. Too stereotypical. For instance, Tim Daly's Texas Ranger character carried supposedly, carries a Colt .45 Peacemaker. (Actually a Ruger) Texas Rangers haven't carried a Colt peacemaker, since the early twentieth century. Today, and when this show aired, Rangers carry a Sig Sauer p229, or p226 in .357 Sig caliber. Some still carry the Colt 1911 .45ACP semiautomatic pistol. Hollywood has been pretty detailed oriented about firearms in the last twenty years or more. Really looked silly with a single action revolver, on a modern Texas Ranger.

Steve Has Ruined the Last Two Shows for Me!
ShelbyTMItchell17 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I still love McGarrett but he has really ruined the last two shows for me. In his better than thou attitude. And at times, being a glory hog.

Like he had to roughshod in the first episode of the fourth season a whole entire SWAT team. Just to get his girlfriend out. And then again, take the keys away from Danny in his new Black Camaro. Despite an interview with the actor, Alex O Loughlin says that Danny can't drive a stick shift.

His control freak ways are getting old. Navy SEAL or not! Anyway, overall a good episode with Tim Daly as a TX Ranger who has to break the law just like at times Steve does. To get his daughter! He really was great in this episode. Liked him since "Wings!"

Hope to see him again really soon!

Warning: Spoilers
Good episode, but I would have liked to seen more cohesiveness in it.

Danny shows his usual sarcastic ways when he tells Steve to watch out when Steve's girlfriend wants to work for his friend from the navy, her ex-boyfriend.

The story of the kidnapped girl with the big hat Texas father was never very clear in what the stealing was all about. When the father joins our dynamic duo to find his missing daughter, the guns are blazing as all hell breaks out.

Kano and her lover boy are forced to flee to a major city in China once their cover is discovered. Are we going to be with them all over the world all season? Come home Kano. Unless, they're planning to write you off the show.

Season 4 Is My Least Favorite but This Was An OK Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Tim Daly as Ray Harper a Texas Ranger trying to look for his missing daughter. As he would later star in "Madam Secretary"

Anyway the location where Kono and Adam are hiding is compromised and could be targeted by Adam's criminal connections or Wo-Fat's henchmen.

Steve really is becoming more and more of a jerk this season. Really poor Danny I wished stood up to him and that he would get all Jersey on him there. As Steve ruined his Camaro and has no remorse.

Danny is a true friend there.
