COVID 19 hits The UK, hospitals simply aren't ready, they have no supplies, no PPE, and a Government that has zero clue what it's doing.
I am always super keen to read what Prismark has to say, a reviewer I have a degree of respect for, and the point I agree with, it doesn't go enough, considering the involvement of Jed Mercurio, I was expecting something hard hitting, I didn't think it went far enough.
Is it still to soon to release a covid 19 drama? With so many still feeling the effects, death of loved ones, financial etc, I'm not sure.
It's well acted, Joanne Froggatt is such a reliable, good actress, very solid once again, and I felt like I was transported back to March 2020, with all of that dear and uncertainty.
Whatever your thoughts on lockdown, the virus, the vaccine etc, one thing that's clear, The NHS staff quite literally experienced hell.
I'm keen to see if it goes further. I'll address some of the comments I've read later on.
6/10.
