chapeau bas Annabelle Dexter-Jones!

Warning: Spoilers
This should've been the first episode...

Annabelle Dexter-Jones's aura encapsulated all of us in this episode ... I truly believe that she should've been the lead cast this season. Her emotional range and body language fits perfectly with her written character and the eerie vibes the show is trying to send. Emma Roberts on the other hand, alongside Kim Kardashian, gives out a sisterly and a safe vibe which hinders what the show is trying to be.

Nonetheless, this was an astounding episode with some minor faults. I just wish that the next episodes can match the same vibe after Adeline died...

7/10.

An episode that had potential.
ktravaglio11 April 2024
This episode really had a lot of potential. The acting from a lot of the cast is just awful. The woman portraying Talia, her attempt at a British accent is atrocious. Too much over acting. The guy that plays the husband, his acting feels forced. It's definitely a much darker episode that they've ever done. This season still doesn't feel like an "American" horror story. Not really sure. The direction the show is going but it's not going in the right direction. A lot of why this episode is a little better than the rest is because Kim Kardashian is not in it. I hope that the rest of the episodes are similar to this one. However I know that Kim has to pop up at some point so.

Just wow....

Warning: Spoilers
American Horror Story has long ceased to be what it once was. In the first 5 minutes of this episode, a woman in the Middle Ages performs a cesarean section on herself. As if that weren't enough, she only needs the stick in her mouth for the first cut, after which she removes the stick from her mouth and suddenly feels no more pain. She retrieves the first baby from her belly without pain. The second baby crawls out of the belly on its own. I haven't seen such rubbish in a long time. Unfortunately, this was the last season of American Horror Story that I will watch. The entire season is dead boring and predictable. The acting is terrible, and the characters are interchangeable and monotonous. I only continue to watch because I have spent money on the season full of hope, and unfortunately, you cannot get a refund.

I can't believe people are liking this

Warning: Spoilers
This is, for me, the worst season of AHS yet. It wasn't even made clear that this was a flashback, so Adeline's character and Dex's mother being alive made no sense to me until I figured it out. Anna is way too slow to figure out what is going on. Hasn't she ever seen "Rosemary's Baby"? I actually think that Emma Roberts is good in this. Matt Czucry, with his endless mugging and same smum smile all the time, is terrible, as is Kim Kardashian. What is worse, this episode is extremely gory. If you get off on so much blood and guts, I think you should ask yourself why? AHS used to have provocative stories. It is no longer the series it used to be. I won't make it to the end, which I have figured out anyway.

Welcoming Annabelle Dexter-Jones

Warning: Spoilers
The decision to dedicate the episode to Adeline seems very right to me, we all needed a break from the way Emma Roberts gobbled up the screen time of all the other characters and focused on the underdeveloped witches, especially since they are very interesting, dark and cruel characters!

Things are finally starting to become clearer, and I'm glad that these witches are completely different from the ones we already know from Coven. I'm not sure if we should pretend we don't know who exactly gave Ivy the character's powers in the first place, but the rest of the episode was truly surprising. We haven't seen this level of violence in AHS for a long time, this episode reminded me of the shock of watching Roanoke.

Using the example of Bett and Dott, we have already seen how one actress plays two characters at once, but Annabelle Dexter-Jones did no worse with the portrayal of the sisters. I really like the actress, and it's such a pleasant shock that she became the main character of an episode from which both Anna and Siobhan were practically thrown out. A very tense, violent and shocking episode, the best of the season so far. Moreover, it is better than all the episodes of the "New York" and the second part of "Double Feature".

BEST EPISODE
kevinmacak13 April 2024
That was truly one of the best American Horror Story episodes in such a long time. One of the shows biggest plot twists ever being right in the intro as well. We got so much information and so much darkness and gore that I feel the show has been lacking for years. This episode truly was one of the best episodes on the show and I wish it wasn't so short. I really hope we get a long finale because the season needs it. I give this episode a huge 10/10 and the actresses performances were unbelievably good. The sets, the vibe, the acting, the gore, the horror, the aesthetic.. everything. This episode was amazing and I wish this season wasn't so slept on. Slowly becoming my favorite AHS season ever.

Okay

I loved the fact Emma wasn't in this episode. Her character always needs to be the same, giving off bithcy vibes, yelling and killing left and right, she was too much as well as Kim. The twin storyline was a hit especially because we never had that type of storyline in Amercian Horror Story until now. This episode makes up for the fact this season didn't start very well and isn't top 5. I hate how they give every character the story for all the episode and they just do something but then they kill off 4 characters in the last 5 minutes. Hoping the finale is gonna be better, they need to stop killing a big amount of characters in the final minutes of an episode.

Great Episode
rickyoleer@yahoo.com27 April 2024
The back stories are the best things about this season. That makes it rather lopsided. I don't care much about the present day characters, and I should. Uneven.

The actors are all fine, except for Kardashian who has no idea what she's doing. Debra Monk and Reed Birney are always very good.

The leads are not all that strong, which might be the problem.

Story line is good, even if it seems like it's Rosemarys Baby Redux. I like the filling in with backstory cause I don't think chronological would've worked.

And the endless break from part 1-2 doesn't help. And We're not getting AHS 13 til 2025 Instead of the usual autumn premiere.
