  Hanna Marin : If I was a teacher and my students only got me coffee mugs, I would so start flunking people.

  Emily Fields : [as Spencer opens envelope]  Tell me that's not what it looks like.

  Hanna Marin : It's Ali's journal.

• Spencer Hastings : What do we know about Shana?

  Emily Fields : That she's missing?

  Spencer Hastings : No, I mean, really, what do we know?

  Hanna Marin : [hesitantly]  She was with Paige.

  Emily Fields : Can we please not go there?

  Hanna Marin : I'm just saying, we don't really have a lot of details about that.

  [Emily looks dismayed] 

  Hanna Marin : Hey, not those kind of details. I mean... did Shana ever mention something about Georgia? Something that connects with where Ali's hiding?

  [shakes her head] 

  Emily Fields : I thought you didn't want us to look for Ali.

  Spencer Hastings : I think A changed the rules on that.

  Hanna Marin : I'm in the same place Emily is. I mean, I'm more angry than I am scared.

  Emily Fields : Okay, so what do you want me to do? Interrogate my girlfriend about her summer fling?

  Hanna Marin : Basically.

  Emily Fields : [scoffs]  Isn't there some Mona-Fitz connection we should be worrying about?

  Hanna Marin : I cannot worry about anything else. My brain is full.

  Spencer Hastings : So is mine. We'll tag up on this later. Aria should be back by then.

  [they start going off, but Emily hesitates] 

  Spencer Hastings : What?

  Emily Fields : Did it ever occur to you guys that we found that book awfully easy?

  [shakes her head] 

  Spencer Hastings : What are you thinking?

  Emily Fields : I'm thinking, what if it wasn't A who put that book in the desk?

  Hanna Marin : Em, get real, this is all about the A-ness of things.

  Spencer Hastings : [folds arms]  Yeah, I would not have said it like that, but... Hanna's right.

  Hanna Marin : [big smile]  I love it when you say that.
