Will Jane's Needs Be Met?
ShelbyTMItchell9 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
After refusing the offer to work as an FBI consultant, Jane is in a federal detention suite but at least he got his tea to drink. In a list of demands as if the FBI plays hardball, so will Jane.

Meanwhile it seems that Lisbon is really bored with her new job as police chief in a Washington State town where Agent Kim Fischer asks her to come help. More like a demand rather than help. As Lisbon visits Patrick and tells him the feds won't let her go unless the demand for her help is needed.

Patrick is happy but that does not mean he is still up to his old tricks. And does everything against federal policy. Cho tells Kim to give up due to the fact, Jane played this while Cho was in the CBI. And Jane is one not to say no to. Bad move FBI.

Still even though the case will get solved up in NY with a kidnapping, it is about Jane's needs being met by the feds. He was telling them, take it or leave it like Abbott did in "My Blue Heaven!"

It is the last show of the mid-season. Can't wait for 2014!

Storyline back where it belongs!
akicork25 November 2020
After several episodes trying to get back on track after the (fairly weak?) end of the Red John story, the writers may have succeeded. We have the basic conflict between instinct and procedure (Jane v Fischer/Abbot) with Jane/Lisbon/Fischer coming in to fill the romantic gap left by van Pelt and Rigsby (no "v" - what about Lisbon/Fischer?), good puzzles throughout the episode and the sustained humour. I think that Wyilie's arrival in the office and interchange with Cho gave me the biggest laugh yet in the series. There is clearly at least one other series in this character.

Jane In FBI Custody With Conditions
shelbythuylinh12 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Really it took a very long while for us to finally warm up to Abott and moving the show to the CBI to the FBI and how that Jane has an affect on people.

Kim Fischer actress was great and found nothing wrong with her. But having said that Jisbon belongs with each other as it takes Kim to convince Lisbon to come work with them and get Jane released and the charges against him dropped there.

FBI thinks they see the bigger picture but in fact, it is up to Jane to really let them go beyond that.

Federal agents coming through! (spoiler alert)
kosar_shariati_mehr8 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
It is almost like when you miss someone so much and that person comes back after all those years and you thrilled with this unbelievable joy and happiness inside. we were afraid we would never see him again but here he is... he is there... he is going to have his couch back! his Lisbon! his tea and his freedom back! was it so hard for them to arrange!? after all what he did for them, catching corrupted cops, killing the evil serial killer! they couldn't be a little grateful!? Well that is how world works!? it is about having leverage and not about trust and honesty! And the new lady agent, she seem's a little off yet, she still doesn't know who she is supposed to be!? she is struggling between Jane's clear grace, her ego and of course being the best officer she wants to be! She asks Lisbon's personal relationship with Jane and she is obviously trying to be involved with him, but she doesn't know how!!? she is a fan and tries to hide how much she loves working and being with Jane, but unfortunately Jane knows that and makes them suffer for their lack of honesty. but we still don't know whether Lisbon is the one or not!? it is not supposed to because the writers don't want to make it a love story and destroy boundaries, however they don't know something, this wall is already collapsed! and there is nothing to protect, we all know they both love each other and it is not just a friendship, the thing that brought back Jane to US again after two years of freedom next to the ocean wasn't just the job offer or loneliness, he wanted to be with Lisbon once again, and I would say:"Lisbon was the only reason he came back for"

Jane's hair parted on the right now!
jknousak9 January 2020
Took me a few episodes, but Jane's hair is now parted on the right w/ the larger top portion combed leftward -- starting in "My Blue Heaven". Before it was parted on the left and combed right. Now that is a cool change from "Red" to . . . any other color -- and his new life! Way cool!

The Detention Suite
claudio_carvalho23 January 2022
Patrick Jane has been arrested in the detention suite and does not give any importance to the FBI warnings. When there is a case of the disappearance of the computer programmer Abel Schneiderman, married with his wife Defiance, FBI requests the support of Patrick Jane and he works with Lisbon. Patrick Jane mocks the FBI surveillance and resolves the case.

"Green Thumb" show Patrick Jane showing his skills and resolving the FBI case, after mocking the agents. My vote is eight.
