When there is a bomb attempt at a bus stop with one fatal victim, the FBI assumes the investigation. Patrick Jane finds in the footage of the surveillance cameras that the victim's bag had been switched and stolen by the private detective Peter Koch. Soon the agents learn that Koch was murdered and the victim David Ronaldo was a lawyer that spent his professional life working to prove that the criminal Luis Cruz, who is in the death row, was not the killer of the Sarah, the wife of the psychiatrist Edward Feinberg. Patrick interviews Cruz in the prison and Feinberg, who has married his former student Mae, at home and plots a plan with the FBI agents to find the real killer.
"Silver Wings of Time" is a good episode of "The Mentalist". Patrick Jane's trick is predictable but anyway the episode is highly entertaining. My vote is eight.
