- The same clown sneaks into a family's home, kills the father who was awake to get a drink, kills the mother in her sleep, and kidnaps the child.
- There is a shot of a carousel running, in the middle of the night, then a clown appears sitting on the horse, and it is very creepy and disturbing.
- The scene building up to seeing the conjoined twins could be seen as scary, as it's quite eerily-shot.
- A character gets upset and scare a young boy and a girl in cages. He throws things at them and jumps at their cages to frighten them.
- "American Horror Story: Freak Show" is a very dark and scary season.
