I must confess I liked this little pilot a bit more than the actual series, due its nice animation (The series has simpler designs, and it took me a while to get used to them) and its sense of humor. (By contrast, the humor from the actual series seems a bit more sanitized and "gentle")
This pilot made me think Steven Universe was going to be a series similar to Adventure Time, filled with strange fantasy elements and lots of humor. What we got instead is still decent, but I kinda prefer this early version.
