- Themes of murder, death and violent crimes are shown throughout. Dead bodies are shown in every episode, and blood can be seen both at some some crime-scenes and also on pieces of evidence collected. The blood is infrequent and mild.

- Themes of doom and peril are shown throughout the last chapter of the game. While there is some in the other chapters, it's heavily present in this chapter in particular.
- One scene depicts a fatal car crash. The crash is shown indirectly, however the aftermath is shown and the incident itself is described. One scene depicts a man's shooting occurring in the next room to the player-character. The shooting isn't shown, but gunshots are heard. Players will also witness apparent spiritual possessions.
