Trying to locate and stop Stroh is intriguing but as a follow-up to episode 17 in which Amy Sykes told Rusty he failed his SIS training operation it is confusing because that is never mentioned in this episode. Rusty failed his training so the operation should have been cancelled! The squad just proceeds with Rusty acting as a lure to catch the letter writer as if nothing ever happened. Sharon and the squad don't even mention that Stroh's alleged accomplice may be the one who approached Rusty at the chess tables. They are not really suspicious of the blonde man with the hat and radio, both of which interfere with surveillance. It is silly. I don't know what the writers were thinking.
