Renamed The Blackburn Asylum, this title is already available on a couple of Video-on-demand platforms (Shaw-on-demand & iTunes). It is set to see even more on December 13th. The film, shot on Britannia Beach, British Columbia, is a multi-genred release. The story involves an old asylum and dangerous characters who still live there. Archstone Distribution has acquired the rights for the Canadian action-packed horror movie Blackburn under its genre arm, Tombstone Distribution. In celebration of the deal, the company also released the second trailer for the film.
Horror fans will spot some familiar faces in Blackburn, which stars Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason), Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection). Also cast are horror genre veterans Lochlyn Munro (White Chicks) and Emilie Ullerup (A Little Bit Zombie), along side Disney’s Calum Worthy (“Austin and Ally”), Sarah Lind (Wolf Cop), Zack Peledeau and Alexander Calvert.

A chaotic trailer has been released for the horror title Blackburn. This title was shot in British Columbia and some of this province's forest can be seen in the clip. Blackburn is a 3Brane Entertainment production. And, the film stars Calum Worthy ("Austin & Ally"), Lochlyn Munro (Freddy vs. Jason), Sarah Lind (WolfCop) and Emily Ullerup (Sanctuary). The first stills and teaser trailer hit the web this morning via Twitch. The site says Lauro Chartrand directs this film which concerns five college pals who are trapped in a ghost town surrounded by a forest fire, a rock slide and deformed killers. That's a helluva dangerous equation...I wonder how all of that went down?

Latino-Review had an exclusive phone interview with actor/stuntsman Ken Kirzinger, who played Rusty Nail in this next installment from the franchise.
In more of a horror version, Rusty Nail stalked a bunch of street racers on a lone stretch of highway. This movie is filled with tons of bloody and gory scenes.
We managed to discuss about him playing the character that many cult fans adore in the “Joy Ride” series. We also discussed about the action sequences performed in the film.
“Joy Ride 3” is currently available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download.
