The movie "Lock In" (aka "Clown Kill") was something else alright. Granted, I hadn't even heard anything about the movie prior to finding it. I figured it to be a horror movie and hence I decided to watch the movie.
Now, I might be using the word 'watch' a bit loosely here, because I only managed to endure 20 minutes of the ordeal that is "Lock In" before I tossed in the towel and gave up out of sheer frustration and boredom.
The storyline was unfathomably slow paced and everything in the movie just screamed and oozed with amateurish movie-making; from the camera-work to the acting, the script to the execution and editing. Sure, if this was a low budget and film school project it would be plausible, but for an actual movie it was just way out of what I wanted to pay money to watch.
It was eventually the horrible dialogue and questionable acting performances that killed off the movie for me and made me get up and turn it off. It just became too much to bear witness to.
This is definitely not a movie that I will be returning to watch ever again. There was nothing interesting to be had anywhere throughout the 20 minutes that I managed to endure.
If you enjoy horror movies, then there are far better movies to spend your money and time on.
